Who do we call up?

We were playing with 7 Defencemen yesturday and now with Bouillon out, Komisarek will play back on defence and that leaves us one forward short...who do we call up? Plekanec? Perezhogin? Higgins? Just wondering..

I think Dackell may be back for next game, if not I guess it would probably be Plekanec filling in. :dunno:

if not , it is sure that it will be one of Plekanec or Higgins

i would prefer Plek because he didn't really have his chance when they called him up sooner in the season

I wouldn't mind seeing Perez playing in that spot on Thursday, but in all likelyhood I see Higgins or Plekanec playing with Juneau and Dackell/Sundstrom and having a forth line of Langdon- Kilger- Dackell/Sundstrom. Or if you want a checking line of Sundstrom - Juneau - Dackell why not try Ferland as a forth line energy player continuing with the prospects getting their feet wet in the NHL.

If you look at the past callups (Dagenais, Gratton, Balej) it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to bring up a Jonathan Ferland, it sort of breaks Gainey's rule, of 'impress down there, impress us up here'. Not to say Ferland has played bad, but the likes of Plekanec, Higgins, and Perezhogin are more in line to receive the word.

I don't think Dackell will play in Minnesota, as its been said he is staying in Montreal for the week to receive testing for the knee. I would expect Dackell, Ward, and Begin back for the Chicago or Boston game. Therefore, unless Bouillon can't play Komisarek should remain up front.

The problem is that we need a right winger and there is enough centers on the team. I would love to seen Perezhogin play in a habs jersey, but I think it's too soon for him
