I say screw the playoffs race, whose looking good in the draft?

MFRONE 02-07-2008 10:11 AM

I wonder if FSNOhio will bother to actually air this one in HD?

Stamkos would be a nice addition. But since we'll be picking 6th or higher again, no matter to us.

FiveHole23 02-07-2008 10:34 AM

BlueJackets web site says its in HD.

I see you put as much effort in the GDT as the Blue Jackets have in their last 4 games.

LaCosta Nostra 02-07-2008 11:57 AM

Anyone know if you can watch the game online? I'm out of town and don't have access to a satellite TV.

Classic. :handclap: I hope this does the trick.

JACKETfan 02-07-2008 12:11 PM

I get Ar-too's point...

This is a Dickie V "Just Win Baby" GDT. Nothing else matters.

Score Prediction: who cares? Just win. *grunts*

Halfboard 02-07-2008 12:56 PM

This is a critical game....................for PHX....................:shakehead

blahblah 02-07-2008 01:09 PM

So are we to the point where we are playing as the role of "spoiler" yet?

Go Jackets!

We need a nice 6 game winning streak, let's start it here!

Love the custom title... "Carry the Virus". You have to laugh, because the only other option is to put your hand through a wall, and I like my walls.

At least go down fighting, guys.

Should the jackets make the playoffs, for we ARE still in the race, I'll be sure to make a thread, for all of you to apologize to the team for losing faith in them, when they're far from out ;)

Good luck tonight, Jackets fans... and I'd be thrilled to see another Goal of the Year from Nasher as long as it's not the winning one... ;)

Question for you - I noticed that Steve Mason was brought up on emergency recall to back up Freddie Norrena - is there an issue with Popperle that kept him down in Syracuse? I think Kitchener is going to the Memorial Cup so it doesn't make much sense to bring Mason up in that situation. Plus, you guys are still in the playoff race and giving ice time to a rookie (however talented he is) seems counterintuitive.

Any thoughts from you folks? :help:

Timeless Winter 02-07-2008 02:49 PM

Mason was our only option, I don't think Howson cares about the Kitchener Rangers, which he shouldn't. No one in Syracuse could be called up for us.

I thought he was still injured(?).

I just want to win hockey games. We aren't out of anything, but the focus I hope is on winning one game at a time.

can we win!?

YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN!

Jackets 10

Coyotes 1

Like I said in the Chimmer thread:

Let's see Chimera pop a couple goals tonight against his former team in his first game after the signing.

Go Jackets.

RickS 02-07-2008 03:24 PM

What are the odds the return of Rich Tocchet to the Phoenix bench provides motivation for the Yotes? A distraction? Will the Coyotes try so hard to keep Rick Nash off the highlight reel that someone else (Brassard, Chimera) gets a few? All this and more starting at 9:00!
