Alexander Sulzer

Hello,

i am living in Berlin(Germany) and i just wanted to know, how are the chances of Alexander Sulzer, to play in the NHL for Nashville in the next years?

As a defender, 25 points in 45 games for the Milwaukee Admirals seem not to be bad...

So what do you think about him?

best regards

At the moment, Sulzer has zero chances to play in the NHL. The Preds D-Corps is very deep, even guys like Ryan Suter are healthy scratches. His future depends on free agency. After this season 4 members of the d-corps hit restricted free agency with Weber und Suter likely asking for a hefty rise but the Preds have approximately 16 Mio of cap space.....

His chances would increase if the Preds would trade Marek Zidlicky but even then it would need a major injury series to bring him up.

Ok, thanks for these information!

But what about his performances? Those 25 pts. are only facts and it does not say much about his perfomances in general.

So it would be better for him to be traded to another team?

Best regards

As far as I know, the organization is very satisfied with Sulzer's performances. He proved himself like he did in Duesseldorf: a steady defenseman with a good offensive touch.

NHL.com correspondent Lindsay Kramer wrote an article about Sulzer about 2 months ago: http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?articleid...e&service=page

Sulzer unlikely has a chance to make our roster soon, but that is not a bad reflection on his play but rather on the depth that Nashville has at defense.
