Heaton Helite IV Pads
Are these good pads?

In what price range are they?

Brodeur 03-07-2008 07:30 PM

Those things are probably 10+ years old by now. I honestly wouldn't pay more than $50 for them, but I periodically see them eBay with an asking price of $300+. Always amusing when the seller says "I paid $1,000 for them."

Probably won't have the same bells and whistles as pads nowadays, namely the knee cradle.

Those are serious old-school. Not worth more than 100, and thats if they are perfect.

Brodeur wore those in the Mid-90s.

I wouldnt even consider buying them unless its for street hockey. They are prob soft and mushy. The knee rolls look deformed with use and age. Those belong hangin on a wall somewhere. The helite IV was 95-96 season I believe. 25-50 bucks...50 being VERY nice.

They're way too old

Brodeur used to wear these pads in the mid 90's
