Brisebois may not play

Per RDS

http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/250721.html

RDS said he did not come with the team at philadelphia, he had to undergo tests to see if he could play. If the test for his leg injury proves to be negative, he will join back the team

It's dumb to wish an injury to one of your team's player at this point. Come on.

I believe the Habs are 0-1 without Brisebois in the playoffs?

Therefore the Habs can not win without Brisebois in the playoffs.

CrazyShea 04-27-2008 05:30 PM

we would be better off if it was dandenault

Bullsmith 04-27-2008 05:33 PM

I hope he comes back healthy. To me Breezer's better than O'Byrne right at this moment, especially in turn of Carbo trusting and knowing how to use him, but still shouldn't play every game.

In the meantime, go Obie. Or maybe better grow Obie.

People were quite flippant about the Smolinski injury if memory recalls.

Iwishihadacup 04-27-2008 05:53 PM

i did not wish him an injury at all, i just was happy so we can try O'Byrne or even Tank instead of him

This is the playoffs. You don't want to develop players, you want to win. There is no point in putting Valentenko in the lineup unless there are 3 injured d-man, which is not the case.

Nonsense.

+1000000

But according to an article on tsn.ca Carbonneau said there will be changes to the lineup and he mentioned Lapierre needs to play better, so all signs point to Dandenault being out :yo:

Nonsense.

The true nonsense is to even try to keep old players in the lineup when the youngsters await

But i agree that it would be better if it was Dandenault

CanadienErrant* 04-27-2008 06:19 PM

Chipchura and Latendresse should be given a chance.

Youngsters need to prove themselves. The only ones who could play if needed are Chipchura and Grabovski.

Teufelsdreck 04-27-2008 06:56 PM

Carbonneau is stubborn if nothing else. Don't get your hopes up.

agreed, at least Brisebois has the potential to actually do something on the ice, whereas Dandenault is just....there. Would love to see Stewart, or for that matter anyone take his place as of next game.

Mathletic 04-27-2008 07:14 PM

Brisebois is what 4th best pointer on the team ?

Grabs? Grabs played himself out of the lineup. Latendresse would be the next youngster to get a shot.

Brass 04-27-2008 08:29 PM

chipchura ftw he would fit perfectly

Stewart JH Esq MBE 04-27-2008 08:29 PM
