Kovalev with Koivu

What do you think about Kovy play with Koivu?

Shabutie 04-28-2008 11:19 AM

As long as it doesn't get too dirty...It should stay between the 2 of them, I don't want to see this all over The Journal de Montreal.

You mean in a sexual way or hockey?

I think they need another left winger on that line.. maybe Sergei. Then reunite the HPK line.

I like it. They've been creating a hell of a lot of chances out there. Koivu is playing like a beast so it's good for him to have a tried and true goal scorer to feed the puck to and for Kovalev to have someone to regularly feed him the puck.

The Kostitsyns also seem to play well together. The only weak point in the top 6 seems to be Plekanec - he needs to pick it up to the level we know he can. He did show some positive signs though.

i think part of plecky's prob with the kosts right now is they seem to look for each other... like.. ALL the time haha. i mean, it could just be me tho, but i'll have to watch the last few games again and see but just a feeling i got during the last game while watching today

I think our top 2 lines look good. They've been playing well and created a lot of chances.

Agreed. It seems like they've made it easier to stop them, because you know the puck is just going back and forth between them.
