Biggest game of the Year

It's going to be a long day waiting for 7 pm to get here, but no matter what happens, it should be a heck of an exciting game. While the series hasn't gone our way so far, hopefully we start converting some of the post shots and missed chances and get better goaltending since Biron is playing great so far.

GO HABS GO!!!:yo::hockey::win:

Here's hoping!

And my wife organized a dinner party... :shakehead

Brisk-Illusion 04-30-2008 09:12 AM

Game 7 was much bigger :shakehead ;) I bet no one will burn even one police car if we win tonight :sarcasm:

Anyways, even if we do lose, and go down 3-1, its not the end of the world, if the Caps could come back vs these same Flyers, so can we

Man... that is b-a-d, bad. I feel for you... luckily my wife is serious about her playoff viewing habits. She passed up tickets to an actual sporting event to ensure she wouldn't miss a Pens game on TV. Also, she is not a big fan of dinner parties. She's one of those people who has to clean every square inch of the house before any guests arrive, as if a head of state will be joining us for dinner. For that reason, dinner parties almost never happen. :thumbu:

Do you have a man cave (basement with TV) to escape to? :D

Excuse yourself to go the bathroom, sneak down to the man cave, and absorb as much as you can in 5 minutes or less. Every 30 minutes, repeat. Better than nothing!

BTW, I hope you guys kick the crap out of Phillthy tonight. You were close to busting loose last game, just have to keep at it. Sooner or later they'll start taking dumb penalties. Especially if you get a lead and keep the offensive pressure on them. Hopefully Price squares himself away too. Good luck, and please... do not set anything on fire if you win.
:sarcasm:

You forgot the "don't be jealous" part. People have to be reminded not to be jealous, ya know.

Good call, I'm too ******** to use Photoshop well. I'm surprised I got it as close as it is (with help from Skrudland)!

Hi! :blush::blush::blush:

Fido22 04-30-2008 09:54 AM

Think this game is going to be all Habs. Plus with pucks going in to the net. Being down 2-1 in Philly has left this team with little wiggle room. If this year is anything to go by, Habs will respond massively. Habs have dominated most of the play, but Philly, IMO, has shown more will. Tonight, I look for the Habs to be flying, first on the puck and Philly to never be in it.

Go! Habs Go!

:handclap:

Yeah....I hope we turn the series around tonight with a strong performance. We need to play our best game of the year tonight. We need to play hard and tough and battle with the Flyers in every aspect.

And Biron isn't playing that great either IMO. He hasn't made any highlight reel stops so far in the first 3 games. He has been solid, but he isn't getting a lot of good scoring chances against him....he's just making routine saves so far.
I'll say he has played well when he is the difference in a game, but so far he hasn't been. Its been mediocre goaltending by Price and lack of traffic in front of Biron that has made the difference....not Biron making easy saves.

this day is never gonna end!

I really think (feeling)...that we will play the SERIE tonight.

We lose, we are OUT, we win, we will go on conference final.

I don't want to "vendre la peau de l'ours avant de l'avoir tué" but it's a feeling I have.

Maybe this time there won't be any own goals by Gillette's teams.

We need traffic in front of Biron, the guy is a monster and see's all.

we need to get some bodies in front of him, crash the net like th eflyers have been doing to us!!
