Huet! Huet! Huet!

I guess we know how other teams felt those years when Roy would win us games we had no buiness winning :shakehead

I hate to say I told you so, but I did to all those that thought the Huet trade was a good move. It just blew up in our face royally. :(

We start Halak tonight. We win 100%.

JrHockeyFan 05-03-2008 09:00 PM

Yeah right. We lost this series because we did not have Huet? :shakehead

Absolutely. Halak would have had a shutout

Galchenyum 05-03-2008 09:01 PM

What is this ****?

Did you even watch the Caps-Flyers series?

Rapmaster 05-03-2008 09:01 PM

If Huet was that good, he would won vs Philly and this wouldn't happen.

We start Halak and Richards scores shorthanded in the first period and they have an early 1-0 lead. Price made some big saves in the beginning of the game so it doesn't necessarily mean Halak would've won us the game.

Huet is a better goalie than Biron by a mile...no way Phillie should beat us based on goaltending.

Adam91 05-03-2008 09:02 PM

Hindsite is 20-20, pretty easy to say I told you so after the fact.

Of course. They beat us on goaltending. We trailed in all but the last game because of goal tending

tiredman 05-03-2008 09:04 PM

i agree. it was a mediocre trade - not because we got a 2nd pick - but because we gave them our #1 goalie just before the playoffs.

and for those who thinks huet would have been worse than price in the series needs to be a little bit more rational.

Kirk Muller 05-03-2008 09:04 PM

oy, this is gonna be a long couple of days on HF.

time to further separate the quality posters from the crap.

Avant-Gardien 05-03-2008 09:05 PM

Ignore my previous post, I've now found my feelings toward it summed up in this emoticon.
