Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia ...who win?

Im going with Flyers in 7.

WeThreeKings 05-09-2008 05:10 PM

Pittsburgh in 4 blow-outs.

Kachino 05-09-2008 05:10 PM

Pittsburgh in 6.

Mathieu21 05-09-2008 05:11 PM

Pittsburgh in 3 :sarcasm:

But seriously it'll be a blowout. Philly just can't compete.

Tuggy 05-09-2008 05:12 PM

If Philly had Timonen it might be different but without him they are in big trouble. He is their top defenseman in every situation.

xduckiex 05-09-2008 05:31 PM

I'd like to see the Pens sweep them just to see Umburger taken down a peg or two

Beakermania* 05-09-2008 06:32 PM

GO PENS GO....

the quicker the better...

i want to get rid of this name.

Mats NAslund 05-09-2008 06:41 PM

Pittsburgh easily, Philly got lucky against the habs

J in toronto 05-09-2008 06:43 PM

flyers in 7

Rayne* 05-09-2008 06:44 PM

Before I learned of Timonen's injury, I would've said Flyers in 7, but now that he's out for the playoffs, Pens in 5.

Agreed. The Pens will not waste time advancing to the Cup Finals. Not to mention that the Pens are flat out superior offensively and Biron will get abused.Malkin,Hossa,Crosby and co will have fun toying and taking advantage of Philly's slow and turnover-prone defense.I expect this series to be intense, physical and fast-paced,but it'll be a short but hard-fought one.Pens will exploit Flyers's weaknesses big time.

Pens in 5.

Spirit Of The Habs* 05-09-2008 09:52 PM

pens in 6

Habs 4 Life 05-09-2008 11:05 PM

Pens in 5

SarahCrash 05-09-2008 11:07 PM

Would they have beat us without Timonen in the lineup though? He may not stand out as a gamebreaker against us, but he did a very good job shutting down our top guys.. I think had he been out all series against us, we might not be talking about this.

Hopefully Pens in 7. Then Detroit can humiliate them, and they can have a crap season next year, like every other runner-up in recent memory.

Flyers - Timmonen = Good Game

bipolarhabfan 05-10-2008 01:12 PM

After the Habs left, I do not care about the playoffs. Have not watched a game in the playoffs after the Habs were eliminated and dont see myself doing so anytime soon. What I would like to see, however, is the Pens make it into the finals and get steam rolled by the Wings.

Pascal 05-10-2008 09:28 PM

Pittsburgh in 4 or 5. Flyers were outplayed by the Habs for 5 games and still won.
