Dwyer is not that bad especally for an AHL team... but he's becoming old now ...

Right, he can't fight in the NHL maybe the AHL...but to say he is old at 26, well that maybe like saying Ribs is past his prime at 23.

Both will be RFA's this summer. I'd bring back one of Dwyer, Carpentier (an FA this summer) or Blouin, and it wouldn't be Blouin. Dwyer can't fight, but he does hit often and is a decent hitter, I wouldn't mind seeing him back in Hamilton, as they need some physical players to go with all the fire power they could have there next year.

John Slaney is 32 and has made a lot of money being a career minor leaguer...heck even Benoit Gratton will be 28 this year, ever AHL team has their career AHL players. Dwyer will be one too.

Dwyer is a waaaay better player than Blouin. Dwyer's mistake was billing himself as a tough guy. If he had settled for "agitator" and checker, like Begin has, he would have fared better. After being pummeled so many times in fights, though, he lost his luster and his NHL job.

Then the Dogs will give him a new contract , not the Habs :)
