Patrick Sharp!

Im starting to love this guy. I only looked at the boxscore so im a little in the dark. I see he had two goals but looks like whenour 2 big guys went down with game misconducts (fedoruk and brashear) he steped up and fought! This gut looks like a heart and soul kinda guy. How did he do in his fight n e one know?

He held his own in the fight. He's not great, but he is willing. He had a fight a few games ago and got his jersey pulled up around his head and seemed to still land more punches than the other guy. I don't remember who he fought, but he was bigger than Sharp.

This kid does so many things that won't make the box score, just make the team better. He plays hard and makes things happen in EVERY zone. Just the other day I was saying he played both zones well, but after yesterday I have to include the neutral zone. He knocked the puck away from a Ranger and got them back in the offensive zone so Johnsson, I believe, could feed Somik out front for the first goal. Somik has 4 goals now I believe. Apparently Sharp can even make Somik useful in the offensive zone :joker:

Right about Sharp making Somik look useful, that line was the best one besides the LeClair-Handzus-Recchi one as usual. Sharp set up a lot of stuff including Somik's goal I think although he didn't get an assist. Sami K. has had a lot of jump lately. Bit worried about Gagne though, he might have had a chance or two, but he didn't have the jump that he's had in recent games.

He fought Orpik in that first one. The guy he fought htis time was Lacotoure, who is kinda like Luke Richardson in that in a brawl, he'll tend to just pick a guy and start throwing. As Sharp said, he wasn't looking for it, but they paired off and he looked like he wanted to fight, so Sharp had to go. That's the kinda of stuff prospects learn from a year with a team like the Phantoms.
