Naslund & Huselius to Wild?

Michael Russo has reported the following:

I am told by sources the Wild has made a contract offer to LW Markus Naslund, and like LW Kristian Huselius, the team is just waiting.

That sucks if so, they will be the new Tampa. Taking everyone. Brunette, Huselius, Naslund....

wahoyaho 07-02-2008 03:51 PM

How does that indicate at all that Naslund and Huselius are going to the Wild?

Gumbercules 07-02-2008 03:52 PM

Russo is reliable, but it says offers. I'm sure lots of teams have made offers.

ItsAllPartOfThePlan 07-02-2008 03:52 PM

Lol...Naslund didn't like the defense first system in Van and now he is going to Minny? good one...

Definitely closer than them both going to the Leafs.

I also was told by a source outside the organization that the Wild did make a “huge contract offer” to Marian Hossa and “I hear they were waiting on him all day yesterday.”
 :'(((((((((

thecupismine 07-02-2008 03:53 PM

Maybe that hatrick he had against Minny has something to do with this...

xXxSiikSHOTxXx 07-02-2008 03:53 PM

Yeah Russo also reported those two and some guy to Detroit for foppa and hossa

Macke* 07-02-2008 03:54 PM

Oh God No.

mrmyheadhurts 07-02-2008 03:55 PM

Naslund won't go to the Wild, end of story. I'll delete my account if that happens.

19nazzy 07-02-2008 03:57 PM

Naslund will not sign in Minnesota.

Calm down eh? lol

Pierre Dagenais 07-02-2008 03:58 PM

How many left wingers do they need? Naslund, Brunette & Huselius

Was I yelling? It's just such a ridiculous idea I thought I would throw out a ridiculous bet. Seriously, of the 30 teams in the NHL Minny is probably the last place Naslund would sign.

Don't stop him. I wish more posters would make proclamations like that and stick to it.

It had nothing to do with yelling but the proclamation was just a bit extreme but hey whatever floats your boat.

One of the best moves Gillis may have done thus far, letting Nazzy go that is.

Yes Gillis is amazing, signing some 3rd and 4th line players, not signing anyone that will help the team offensively, good job bud.

Definitely my thoughts.

So far Vancouver has 2 legit top-six players.

Brownie 07-02-2008 05:05 PM

Why would he move his family all the way over to Minnesota to go play on a defense first team that sin't considered a Stanley Cup Contender? Ain't gonna happen.

Fixed.

IMHO, an important difference between acquiring legit #1 line vs legit #2 line.

He's already stated in numerous interviews that money isn't his driving factor.

And I believe in Santa Claus. They can say that in the media all they want. Let us not forget all those claims during the CBA lockout. Pluuuuease....don;t believe all that you hear from pro athletes in this day and age.
