The fourth post in this thread had the answer.

Nice random rant about the NHL being bush league because you apparently have reading difficulties or some sort of OCD.

CrisisInMTL 07-10-2008 06:55 AM

Can't wait to get a look at their sched, going to do my best to make a roadtrip out of a few of their games against teams in the North East of the US.

If you consider the NHL a bush league, then why are you posting on an NHL forum? Doesn't that make you look kinda stupid?

Canadian_Brewtality 07-16-2008 07:13 AM

Thanks, it will be good if it's sometime this week. It's always nice to put the big X on your calendar, for let's say Theodore's 2nd visit, Sundin's first game against the Leafs or Ryders welcome back party at the Bell Center.

White Spy 07-16-2008 08:35 AM

Pencil in 2 preseason games against the defending cup champs!

Sept. 24: vs. Montreal, at Joe Louis Arena, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 30: at Montreal, at Bell Centre, time TBD
http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll...807100448/1128

And the schedule will be out tomorrow!

"July 14, 2008
The skinny on the schedule

With lots of chatter all over the Internet about when the 2008-09 NHL schedule will be released, here is the latest word from the Sabres:

1). The current plan is for the full NHL schedule to be released Thursday at noon.

2). There may be a couple small pieces released Wednesday. Several outlets are reporting that teams are going to be given the go-ahead to announce their openers and perhaps a couple of other key games but the full schedule will still be held to Thursday while it's finalized.

So get your pens and your road maps ready. It looks like Thursday at noon."

Where's your Montreal media when you need them ...

I guess we can plan our game ticket draft BBQ for this weekend.

crystal ball 07-16-2008 09:55 AM

I know the season opens on October 9, with the Wings playing Toronto. Habs play the leafs on Oct.11. I'm not sure where that's happening, but it might be the Habs' home opener.

edit: That's the season in North America. Apparently, four teams will start playing in Europe before that date.

Pascal 07-16-2008 09:59 AM

2 preseason games against the Wings is sweet.

The Habs plays in Buffalo on Friday October 10.
