He sold his food products company years ago for half a billion to IBP, which in turn was bought up by Tyson. I'd be surprised if he even had stock in Tyson anymore, considering his other ventures.

I've heard this twice in the last 4 days, from different people in the financial industry. Strange how this news is popping up all at once.

I was studying business when junk bond takeover pirates ruled. First it was S&Ls, then junk bonds, then the dotcom bubble, then the lending fiasco, now speculating on oil.
