Four Germans Handed 3-Month Suspensions by Federation

For failure to take a drug test for the second time in 18 months

The players are Aleksander Polaczek (Nürnberg), Daniel Kreutzer (Dusseldorf), Robert Dietrich (Nashville Predators, formerly of Dusseldorf), and women's player Andrea Lanzl. There's still a question as to whether Dietrich's suspension will be served in the NHL/AHL, but there's no reason not to from the NHL's perspective.

Kreutzer has already consulted a lawyer and is going to appeal the decision.

Stupid NADA regulations, as always, pathetic really.

Kreutzer send a mail with his location for July, August and September, so he did exactly what he was supposed to do. But no, he has to send one mail for each month. Are the people at NADA to stupid to read a mail or what?

The case of Sascha Goc is even worse, though he only got a warning because it's the first time.
When he tried to use the NADA internet-platform to announce where he would be, it wasn't working, so he phoned them. Everything was fine, a NADA-board even decided that he did everything correctly, but now it's wrong again.

How can you give someone a warning after you already decided that he did nothing wrong?
And how can you blame others for your own mistakes?

The NADA is a horrible organization that has absolutely no idea what it's doing. Full of people with a superiority complex who feel they can do no wrong. It's time for some big changes to get them out of this mess.

Goc just announced in the local paper that he won't play for the DEB again because of this incident.

He said he feels like he and Kreutzer are being punished for the DEB's wrong handling of the Busch case.

Wow, DEB can't afford to be losing any players of this caliber...

DEB however can afford even less to lose governmental funding, which is linked to co-operation with and observance of the NADA-rules.
