TheDanceOfMaternity 08-13-2008 12:16 PM

I went with Toskala

mckeefan* 08-13-2008 12:17 PM

Bryz. The guy is very good.

Redwingsfan 08-13-2008 12:18 PM

Toskala

add Budaj

Habs 4 Life 08-13-2008 12:20 PM

Cam Ward

Turambar 08-13-2008 12:21 PM

Huet or Osgood, went with the former.

Gerber is probably going to finish somewhere near the bottom of this list (and deservedly so, IMO)... but he will by putting up this career:

Gerber = .929 (22 GP), .918 (32), .906 (60), .906 (29), .910 (57) = .911 (200)

Toskala = .927 (11 GP), .930 (28), .901 (37), .908 (38), .904 (66) = .910 (181)

Can somebody explain to me how one mediocre career gets you voted 13th (while Huet, Backstrom, Bryzgalov, etc are still on the board) and the other will be near the bottom of the league? :help:

0ilerman 08-13-2008 02:38 PM

its getting tough at this point, but I went with Bryzgalov

SingDomestica 08-13-2008 05:02 PM

I think a lot of people forget about Bryz sometimes. Phoenix improved quite a bit with him in net, and I believe he also has had more playoff experience then the remaining candidates, one of which years which he proved himself going in as a backup goaltender.

fcpremix88 08-13-2008 05:12 PM

Easily Backstrom.

Naych_PHX 08-13-2008 05:20 PM

I went this Backstrom, but after seeing how neck and neck Toskala and Bryz are I shoulda went with Bryz.

flamebird 08-13-2008 05:29 PM

there is no comparing bryz to toskala, some of u ppl need to start watching hockey

CaptBrannigan 08-13-2008 05:33 PM

I will copy and paste my response from the past 5 polls: Backstrom.

Nizdizzle 08-13-2008 05:44 PM

Toskala, Huet, then Bryz.

Backstrom benefits from Minny's system, ala Roloson and Fernandez

tony d 08-13-2008 06:37 PM

Chris Osgood.

SLAPSHOT723 08-13-2008 06:58 PM

tough between toskala and bryzgalov

chose toskala

Seeing him at the Worlds makes me believe otherwise.

Went with Backstrom.

Kamina 08-13-2008 07:57 PM

Come on. Backstrom.

DDs not undersized 08-13-2008 08:01 PM

Huet, then Backstrom, then Bryzgalov, then Osgood.

Nabokov>Lundqvist???
Nabokov's Save % average is .911! Last 3 years:
05-06 .885
06-07 .914
07-08 .910

Lundqvist average: .917
05-06 .922
06-07 .917
07-08 .912
Thing is, somehow Lundqvist is getting worse and worse

sabresfan129103 08-13-2008 08:41 PM

i would vote for Letonen if he could stay healthy for a full season. the guys got all the tools to put it together to be a very good top 10 tender. he put up very good numbers for being on a brutal atlanta team. however i voted for toskala because he seems to have the consistency and he can stay healthy.

RoyBoyCoy 08-13-2008 08:46 PM

PRICE!!! (have been voting for him from the first one)

add.
well.
Colorado and LA.
Colorado has the weirdest tandum ever Raycroft and Budaj. Budaj will probably start.
LA has 71 goailes.

so ADD BUDAJ

Do you think Price is the best goalie in the NHL?

Harrison Ford 08-13-2008 10:03 PM

Vesa, add Budaj.
