GDT : Nashville @ Phoenix 8:00 cst

Possibly a jump to # 5, given Calgary's loss earlier today. We can just ask for 1 point on the road, hope for two. Jumping out to an early lead never hurts, hopefully Scotty and Sully will continue their dominance, especially with they way Walks has played against the Coyotes thus far.

Only Coyote I like is Taffe, let's go Preds, kick some arse!

5-2 Preds win, Sully 2 goals and and 2 A's.

RWS 02-21-2004 08:08 PM

In honor of the way they are playing, I'm not making a walker or sullivan prediction, but a Sulliker/Walvan prediction of a combined 2g/4a

SmokeyClause 02-21-2004 08:33 PM

Well Johnson makes a nice tip and scores shorthanded. Now if only we didn't give up a goal 30 seconds into the game.

SmokeyClause 02-21-2004 08:33 PM

Jesus Pete sully rules.

golfmade 02-21-2004 08:34 PM

golfmade 02-21-2004 08:37 PM

Here's some News "Cale Hulse Commits a stupid penalty with his team on the Power play and is sitting in the box" now where have I heard that before.

golfmade 02-21-2004 09:39 PM

Sullivan 1 G 2 A's already, cmon Sully one more goal!

And McKenzie with a goal??? Wow!

Higgy4 02-21-2004 09:52 PM

Steve Sullivan is the best thing that ever happened to my fantasy team. Scott Walker is suddenly single handedly carrying my team.

Thanks Sully! :yo:

volzok 02-21-2004 09:56 PM

Another assist by Sullivan. :handclap:

ESPN.com is reporting Hartnell as a healthy scratch. Is he just being sat out for "better safe than sorry" reasons, or is ESPN.com too lazy to get things straight?

He was put on the injured list so he is out for at least a week.

:yo: :yo:  :yo:

golfmade 02-21-2004 10:43 PM

Darn Sullivan, didn't listen to me. I told him to get 2 G 2 A, and he just HAD to go and get 1 G 3 A, he's gonna get a stern warning to listen next time :joker: :D :yo: :yo:

and now intentionally losing to the Kings, to screw us over :madfire:

Well, there's really not a lot you can say. That's about as good as it comes.

This Sullivan pick up is looking better and better for so many reasons:

1) Timing: We were crawling along after the all-star break. We obviously needed a change. The trade has given us the boost we so desperately needed. 18 goals for the team the last 3 games. Geez.

2) Sullivan fits the Preadtors mold: Non-Stop work ethic, speed, tenacity.

3) Sullivan adds desperately need skill: I think there's little question he's the most skilled player on the team right now. He's making everybody better.

4) Sullivan is the kind of guy that can get hot: The trade has given him a lot of motivation. He's actually playing for a purpose now and he's fired up. And it's an understatement to say that he's hot right now.

SmokeyClause 02-22-2004 07:54 AM

One of the best things about Sully is when he goes cold, he'll still give you tons of effort and defensive responsibility. So he'll still be a valuable member when things aren'g going his way.

So 2 games ago we tie the franchise record for most goals in a game, and we up it by one in this one, I'm highly upset I missed it. Anyone know where I can find highlights?? :dunno:
