Who will be our leading goal scorer?

The question is simple, who will be our leading goal scorer this year?

Andrei Kostitsyn gets my vote.

AK46 gets my vote

Myron Gaines* 08-27-2008 11:01 AM

Alexandre Covaleau

You guys might want to scratch out my vote. Since every time I see Koivu's name in a poll. I automatically click on it without reading it first. ;)

It would be oh so satisfying to see Higgins do it but it'll be either Kovalev or Kosti. Sr.

I certainly expect 30+ from each of our top-6 wingers.

UWHabs 08-27-2008 11:11 AM

My guess is it will be an AK. Whether it be AK46 or AK27, I'm not sure. My tendency is to think that Kovalev will still be king for us.

Definitely something I can see happening this year.

No way for Tanguay, he will not have 30 goals.

CH4 08-27-2008 11:16 AM

Andrei has so much upsides I think it is him

If only Higgins could stop playing posts as in outdoor hockey he might have a decent chance to become our leading scorer

HabsDood 08-27-2008 11:17 AM

AK, young one ;)

Maxpac 08-27-2008 11:20 AM

It's either Andrei Kostitsyn or Alex Tanguay, pretty excited to have 1st line winger Québec maid product:yo:

fufonzo 08-27-2008 11:24 AM

I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I think Latendresse might be able to do it if he gets the icetime.

This is also a great setup for post #15

Travis Moen 08-27-2008 11:25 AM

As long as he's got 55 assists, it's all gravy.

Galchenyuk x 27 08-27-2008 11:43 AM

Kovalev...fires....SCORES!!

beowulf 08-27-2008 11:44 AM

I think it will be a battle between Andrei and Higgins with Higgins winning out.

How much do you weigh and how strong is the limb? How far is the hospital? The amount of ice time depends on the performance rather than the other way around.

I guess the rest of the Latendresse clique is still asleep this morning.:D

Kovy's contract year will be his best for us yet. Watch and see...

30+ goals guaranteed

:yo:

Habsfan1215 08-27-2008 11:54 AM

If last year taught us anything.........

Last year numerous fans wanted to trade Kovalev for a bag of pucks and he had a great year...

This year tons of fans have higgins in almost every trade proposal out there....I say if Higgins stays with the Habs (and IMO he will) he will have a career year, so my vote goes to Higgins
