What a milestone...

No one even acknowledged big jim's gordie how hat trick on saturday! He also scored his 100th NHL point. hah

I don't know the details of his contract, but my guess is he's a goner after this season.

people have railed on big jim throughout the season, but i think that he's contributing in ways that we're not seeing. a few jokes here and there can go a long way in a tight situation. despite having a sense of humor, the guy seems to exude "authority." he seems like the kind of guy that the kids on the team all like...but respect...and when he talks, everyone listens.

I will say he doesn't let our smaller guys get bullied and he does seem to have a good sense of humor.

but I was serious...congrats on his gordie howe hat trick

my favorite quote came after the unmasked ball.

(in regard to his purple pimp-suit and hat with feather)

"i borrowed all of this from Jason York. And you can print that."

I like him. I wouldn't mind him being resigned, if we have an open roster space (which we wont...)

I could have sworn we signed him to a 2 year deal, but I'm not 100% on that.

Despite hands of stone, he is a consumate team player. I've always liked Jim :handclap:
