What can the Rest of Hawks vets get?

:dunno:
Alexander karpovtsev... maybe a 3rd rounder? COL or TOR maybe?
Steve Poapst... maybe a 5th rounder? NJ maybe?
Igor Korolev... maybe a bag of pucks? STL?
Stephane Robidas... ???
Deron Quint... ???
Steve Passmore... ???

gimme some input.... :dunno:

I imagine the Canucks will be interested in Steve Poapst.

I suspect anywhere from a mid-round pick (5th or so) to Tyler Bouck could be moved for him.

Bouck is now waiver eligable as of a couple days ago, and I suspect he could get on, and stay on, the Hawks lineup, whereas next time he gets called back down from Vancouver he's on waivers.

As a Sabres fan, I wouldn't mind Poapst or Dempsey.

How about Bell? :)

Has Afinogenov falen out of favor in BUF yet?

Maybe something like...

Dempsey,Poapst,Korolev and 2nd for Afinogenov and McKee?

not sure if this is something BUF would look at while trying to make a playoff push or not....But i know McKee is always in rumours...

So I guess that's a no for Bell?? ;)

I wouldn't go for that proposal though.

I wouldn't trade Bouck for Poapst, especially since Poapst is injured right now..

ATG 02-24-2004 07:22 PM

I wouldn't mind Berard or dempsey returning to Toronto

I'm sure that with careful maneuvering and asset management, the hawks can secure the entire 2nd round of the 2004 entry draft

How many 2nd round picks this year do the Blackhawks have?

I know they've got at least 3 (unless they don't have their own). They can do better than that!
