Lidstrom-Rafalski

The only confirmations so far is a line of Steen - Stajan - White along with Toskala in net.

I actualy said to someone a little while ago White could be a decent forward. I didn't actually think they'd do it.

Yeah he's already played one game after suffering a broken nose and he recorded 2 assists.

TimeZone 10-03-2008 01:39 PM

Is Kulemin playing 2night?

Nikolai Cool Lemon 10-03-2008 01:43 PM

I seriously think White will make a better forward...He can be our reverse Brent Burns! I am pretty sure Kulemin is still out for tonight and Finger for sure. Kubina will most likely sit out as well but ya never know.

No, he did not practice again today.

russmatuss 10-03-2008 01:57 PM

I thought I heard that Schenn was playing all three games this weekend, but I could be mistaken.

I believe Antropov is playing center between Pony and Blake

The line of Hagman -- Grabovski and Mitchell will get another chance

Stajan is centering Steen and Ian White

Tlusty - Devo and I believe Bell are the other forwards

Frogren, Schenn, Kronwall, Van Ryn, Colaiacovo and Stralman will be the 6 dmen.

Toskala will be in net..

A MRI today showed that Jeff Finger has a hairline fracture in his foot and may miss a little more then just the first week perhaps.

Kubina tweaked a knee but was on the ice at practice today and will hopefully play the last exhibition game Sunday and be in the line-up for opening night..

-Kulemin also has a knee issue is not on skates and listed a 7-10 days ..

Wilson wanted to keep Moore, Mayers and Hollweg out tonight as they're all a little banged up and so Ian White will be dressed as the 12th forward.

Just send Tlustly to the minors for **** sakes.. Its is total ****ing bs that he plays with ****ing plugs every god dman game. This organzization has no idea how to use this kid.

I feel terrible for him. Hes been put in situations meant to fail. You dont put talent with a bunch of horse ****.

Tlusty might actually play with Grabovski and Mitchell tonight if Wilson decides to give Hagman the night off and play Kyle Rogers in his place on the 4th line with Devo and Bell.

And Detroit with the last change. Frogren is going to be watching Red Wings skating in circles around him all night.

Ahh, Jiri Hudler. How I cursed at my television when the Leafs selected Stajan instead.

zeke 10-03-2008 03:35 PM

I believe the lines in practice were:

Poni - Antropov - Blake
Tlusty - Grabovski - Mitchell
Steen - Stajan - White
Hagman - Mayers - Hollweg
Rogers - Bell - Devereaux

Looks like it's gonna be an ugly game boys! Only one thing to do...

*begins to pound the sauce*

leaflover 10-03-2008 04:08 PM

I don't expect a win but a more determined effort best be on its way.

It could be alot worse, considering the line-up that Detroit iced.
