Lets keep it going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Need to be a little better with turning the puck over, but everything else looks good!

PavelBure9 10-11-2008 07:30 AM

Keep the pressure!!!!!!!! Dont let 2 points slip away!!!!!!!Every point counts..................

Lets go Rangers!!!!!!!!

beastly115 10-11-2008 07:41 AM

We have to win this one! One of my friends is a Flyers fan and it would be great to shove a W in her face :D

wa2k99 10-11-2008 07:53 AM

Briere plays wing now?

z1co80 10-11-2008 07:58 AM

Another great gameday thread loffen;)

Lets Go Rangers

Melrose_Jr. 10-11-2008 08:03 AM

Interested to see if there's any lineup changes. I'd say the "Voros experiment" set a precedent for platooning these bottom half guys and see what works. Would love to see Fritsche get a shot in Dawes' spot or Rissmiller take Sjo's spot and bump him up to the 3rd.

Celestial Black 10-11-2008 08:16 AM

Not sold on Rissmiller but Fritsche I could maybe see in. I'm just hoping we keep up our pace and play solid for all three periods.

My only request...watch the slot. We have tendencies to let one guy slide in for a one-timer.

Prediction, goals from Gomez, Dubi, Girardi.

qwertyaas 10-11-2008 08:23 AM

Interested to see Briere playing the wing. I take it a certain GM likes how Drury is playing on the wing :sarcasm::)

Let's go 4-0!

Ya, Defense has to tighten a bit. Too many odd-man rushes were let up in the past 3 games.

I dunno, I just copy-pasted the lines from the Flyers' GDT... so I suppose he does.

Yes he does. John Stevens starting putting him on Mike Richards wing in the Penguins series last year and liked what he saw. So until he changes his mind, Briere is a winger.

bustoff 10-11-2008 09:19 AM

Hopefully Orr and Cote will drop'em tonight. Besides the Blues-Isles game, this is the game I'm keeping my eye on.

Vaheh 10-11-2008 09:29 AM

6 - 1 Otl

Jaromir Jagr 10-11-2008 09:32 AM

I want to win this game, then again...

I'm going to the game Monday AND Wednesday....if they win this one...most likely they'll lose at least one of those..

I'm in a bind :)

Or just start the season 7-0? :yo:

BillyShoe1721 10-11-2008 09:36 AM

Has there been an announcement as to whether Lundqvist will be playing or are they hoping Valiquette can continue what he did against the Flyers last year?

No not yet.
Vally is however expected to start atleast one game in October, because of the busy schedule. So maybe. ;)

Maineice11 10-11-2008 09:45 AM

As for the 3-0 Rangers, I'd expect at least one other forward rotating through the lineup against the Flyers: possibly Patrick Rissmiller or Dan Fritsche, perhaps in place of Nigel Dawes, who doesn't look right...

FLYLine24* 10-11-2008 11:10 AM

Philly? Not a good feeling about this...

6-1 OTL.
