lou4gehrig 10-28-2008 11:39 AM

My guess is someone else already took "maxpacioretty" and so this new poster used that name.

Cenzo_ did you just stumble upon the caricature in your avatar or is there a place online to see those? I was twelve years old during those playoffs and my room wall was covered with La Presse's images like that one. He'd be nice to see them again.

I liked how O'Byrne, Higgins and Komi are supportive of him and they understand what he is going through, and that it's normal.

He'll be on the right track in no time I hope! :handclap:

Those guys had been through US Colleges and they know how steep is the climb to pro level. And they played for 3-4 seasons in College.

Normal that a guy with only 40 college games under the belt is not prepared yet for that.

He is playing with Chipchura at centre and J.T. Wyman as the right winger. Could be the makings of a great line in the AHL, but I wonder if he would be better served playing alongside Ben Maxwell.

Chipchura is fine. He is now a young AHL vet, if I can say that. Wyman belongs in the ECHL, though. Desharnais should be at AHL level instead.

Desharnais IS in the AHL. In fact, he's got 5 points in 7 games.

You're right. I was thinking of Beauregard.

They played together only Sunday. Before that, it was

Lehoux-Maxwell-D'Agostini
Stewart-Chipchura-Russell
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Glumac
White-Trotter-Flinn/Wyman/Shelast
