If I was Charbo I would have a few practices without pucks... this team needs to get back its skating legs etc because its been non existent the last few games.

Even a blind squirrel gets a nut every once in a while

Whitesnake 11-08-2008 08:47 PM

I'll take a double aargh....make that a triple....

MontrealHabitant 11-08-2008 08:47 PM

Two things.

Try Hards.

Fluke Win.

On another note, a game like this was needed.

xeric716x 11-08-2008 08:47 PM

time to regroup, cant win them all.

Luongo2008* 11-08-2008 08:47 PM

first reaction

Nashy 11-08-2008 08:47 PM

You just knew after that stupid penalty by Kostopolous and the quick PP goal that this was going to be a long night.

Count me in with those that want another top 4 defenceman, tonight proved that.

Kue 11-08-2008 08:48 PM

Hopefully this is what is neccessary to get a full game out of this team (for the first time this season).

totalrecall 11-08-2008 08:48 PM

agree, cant win all games. Important thing is to learn from this defeat and make changes.. I really dont like how we play lately

Maximus Taylor 11-08-2008 08:48 PM

The Leafs played a good, focused game. The Habs did not. That's the jist of it.

Dwight 11-08-2008 08:48 PM

If I'm Grabovski, I'm afraid, very afraid.

You may have skill, but you, my friend, are only 5'10". Watch your mouth

C-Saku Koivu MTL 11-08-2008 08:48 PM

Talk about ruining a weekend...

Pascal 11-08-2008 08:48 PM

doesn't get much worse than:

- sucking ass against the Leafs
- Grabovski the jerk makes sure to score a couple of points
- they sing our nah nah nah song

and not to pinpoint him above anyone else (everyone sucked) but could Lats be any more useless? he needs AHL time..

Not all team are going to take such a deliberate run at him. And if anything, he proved (again) tonight that he can play.

Travis Moen 11-08-2008 08:49 PM

Habs didn't want to get dirty and got pwnd.

WeThreeKings 11-08-2008 08:49 PM

**** THST HABS MAN.

Wgatthe ****, can theybat least playt=a game for once. like, they ****ing can't plau a full goame, theyb didnt try toniht a t al.

f theu this would stp[ taking teams for granted an started actually tryin, we'd be undeeatd.

I ahte kvalev too, he pisses me off with his stpid plays, no one showed up tonight at ll.

Grabvski ia amasinzg, I told uua lall held bea really good, you ****in ****s swho sai hed get pushed around, he's amZING, it old uou.

we got one point out of four, we soudlve goten four carbonnwau is a horrible coahc, of he knew how to manage his team we wouldn't be mot givign effort.. al he'll say is l faut fraivailler and briebois willw play firs tlinec entre and t will be anothing loss

superstar436 11-08-2008 08:49 PM

good thing that MTL lost coz they have been playing with fire for many games. Time to skate and give the effort.

I will rant about carbonneau coz he is not impressive.
Learn something called Time-out. After that Markov goal they should have taken one coz the whole second period was crazy. Also, I hope he does not give them the day off 2morrow coz it is tmie to penalize them and teach them to give effort. No effort no days off

btw the leafs charged Price's net the whole night. Where is BGL, where is the team toughness.
Leafs 3-7 on the pp ....

HabsPack 11-08-2008 08:49 PM

Good game by the Leafs, they kicked the Habs azz at what Mtl supposedly does best, speed and skill.

Mtl had better take the past two games as a warning, they have to work hard to be successful. I expect a great game from the Habs against Ottawa, 'cause you know the Sens will be gunning for 'em.

he may be listed at 5'10", but he's even smaller.

uhmm it rarely ever happens? The couple of hits from behind were accidents/dumb plays.

I wonder if the Leafs will do anything about all the diving they do.

One thing I noticed. He is pretty bad.

Curious though why does the entire Montreal team hate Grabovski so much?

hototogisu 11-08-2008 08:50 PM

Kostopoulos' penalty was the killer tonight. We're playing the second half of a back-to-back, on the road, after a tough loss in Columbus where we didn't play well, and we needed a good start. Instead we found ourselves killing a 5-minute powerplay off the hop and we were left playing catch up the rest of the way.

We played brutal in two straight games but now we have a couple of days rest, play back at home on Tuesday, and can try to get into the rhythm of a non-ridiculous schedule. Even though we've rarely played a full 60 minutes all year, we're still 8-2-1, so let's not lose sight of the big picture.
