....Andrew Conboy with Michigan State will be playing on NHL Network at 7:00PM Saturday in Canada. The game will be Sunday at 12:00PM in the US.

What, Conboy is a cross-desser?

Potential tough guy (one of the better fighters in the USHL)... possibly a power forward. He has great size, and a frame that could hold some more weight. Plays an ultra-aggressive style and sticks up for himself and his mates.

Conboy also has a good shot and his skating isnt that bad for a big guy either. I'm really high on him since the dev camp.

In the NCAA it is, where he is right now, not in the USHL. Just type USHL fights on YouTube and you'll see that it's far from prohibited...

Yes you can fight in the USHL. You can fight in the NCAA too but if you do you get an auto 1 game suspension.

I mean with the fans and it looks like he just love to play the game.

I've had a good feeling about Conboy since the draft.

Prediction:

Since the TV Gods don't like us as far as prospects on TV are concerned, we probably won't see Conboy tomorrow night. Why? 'Cause the kid decided to be active in the penalty box tonight. I have no idea what happened, still, my prediction is that either his coach will be pissed at him for being undisciplined or since he got an unsporsmanlike conduct in the 3rd, he could be suspended for one game.

Again, I'm totally guessing here since I have no idea what happened, still, I wouldn't so not be surprised if that happened since he's on TV tomorrow night....

We'll see.....

The only thing I know is that Conboy scored a goal but it was called off for running into the goalie. I know he got a penalty when an opposing player gave a "snow job" to his goalie and Conboy took offense to it, not sure what he did but I assume that's where he got a lot of his pims. I hope he plays tonight.

Big kid, throws his weight around, can fight like a mofo, has some offensive upside and will stick up for anyone?

I guess we'll see, in a few years as he hopefully progresses, we'll start to see where he's at. I personally doubt he'd be anywhere near as good but he is big, physical and can fight with some skills as well.

I doubt it, Lucic seems borderline retard with better skills than Conboy. Conboy is borderline psycho his brother almost ate another players finger:sarcasm:

Conboy is ECHL, AHL material at best. Another Jimmy Bonneau or Andre Devaux.

i agree. i don't see how anyone gets really excited about conboy when we have much better players in the system..

Nobody's getting excited.....he's a prospect, and some will like to follow his progression. As far as his talent, I was at the dev. camp and sure.....as far as offensive talent, there's a loooooong way to go. So if somebody is excited it's not because he's on top of the prospects' list....it's because he's the only one who bring that kind of package amongst our prospects.
