Francis Bouillon: Injured

In Sunday nights game between the Montreal Canadiens & The St.Louis Blues, Montreal defencemen, Francis Bouillon took a slap shot to the mouth late in the third period. He fell to the ice, and immediately skated off the ice where he was attended to by medical help.

Bouillon Injured?
How Many Games?

Thoughts?

From the look of it, he'll be fine. Two person of the medical crew went back to the bench after checking him out...same thing with Halak. He should be alright...

centrehice 11-16-2008 08:47 PM

It was in the mouth? I thought it looked like it got him in the throat.

Bluebillion 11-16-2008 08:47 PM

lol thanks, but I am new but you'll see me posting and starting threads often. I started posting stupid threads, but I'm watching out for those mistakes now :P

Bouillon said to the press after the game that he's okay , and that he doesn't have a broken bone , and that he will skate tomorrow ...

Very good news, as much as some of us (me included) sometimes make fun of Cube. Our defense can't afford another loss.

la25ecoupe 11-16-2008 09:17 PM

Why is he called Cube?

Btw, i was also scared when seeing AK bleed from the mouth.

Megaforce 11-16-2008 09:19 PM

You've got to take a few in the throat if you wanna play in the NHL.

DaHabMan 11-16-2008 09:20 PM

if hes not playing then great, more adversity for this team to overcome and if hes ok then great too, we dont lose a good def.

Bouillon cubes...

Megaforce 11-16-2008 09:32 PM

Speaking of Cube, I'm thinking that this is the first time we've had two black guys (African American/Canadians) playing on the Habs at the same time...BGL & Cube both being black.

Has anybody else noted this yet or am I a genius?

For some reason I always thought it was because he was small and built square like a tank hence the Cube nickname.
