Who Are You Most Afraid of?

If the Flyers have to face 1 team in the playoffs, who would you least want to face?

Tampa Bay - At the begining of the year I would never have thought about them being a serious team. They are solid all the way through. They probably have the fastest group of forwards in the league and a pretty solid d-core that doesn't give up too much. Their only question is goal, don't get me wrong, the Boulin Wall is great but he seems to disappear in the playoffs.

Ottawa - Quite possibly the most gifted team in the NHL. This team has improved a lot over the last 2-3 years. It seems like they have learned that you have to take a hit in the playoffs and sacrafice the body to ensure wins. Goaltending is a question as well as they have a few players who disappear when pressure is on.

Toronto - A team "built for the playoffs" as they say. This team has had Ottawa's number in the playoffs in the history, but it's exactly that....history. Overall, this is a great hockey team, a lot of leaders and a lot of players who will pay the price to win hockey games and a few have won cups before. Their goaltending is solid but their D is still a question. Injuries are also in question here, although it would be difficult to be injured more than the last playoffs, and the Leafs have revenge to achieve....although that didn't work this regular season so far.

Boston - That #1 line is real good, they have a great checking line - this is key, every team that wins the cup has a great checking line. Goaltending has been fanstastic this year so far and will most likely keep up. Overall this is a pretty solid team.

New Jersey - They're sorta slumping lately but you can never count out the best goalie in the world. Bordeur WILL steal wins for this team come playoff time, he always does. The D really misses Stevens and will miss Rafalski, if he doesn't come back soon. But they are the defending champs and you can't count these guys out.

So, who don't you want to meet in the playoffs?

Ott. That team is just way too loaded

You know, on paper Ottawa is scary, but if this team is together and healthy to meet Ottawa, I think they COULD rise to the occasion and take out the sens, not wanting to be beaten three years in a row. Tampa meanwhile is almost just as good, we've played pathetically against them in all tries this season, and they are still a team that can sneak up on everyone else.

So true...He could make Marty Brodeur look like Roman Checmanek.
