Looking at the video, it should be Marsh beats up Reaves!! Reaves missed on most of his punches and Marsh nailed him with a few early and late.

ChicagoBlues 12-10-2008 03:17 PM

Maybe so, but Marsh was bleeding a lot and Reaves was not. Besides, "Reaves beats up on Wolves D-man Tyson Marsh" sounds better than your version.;)

Only sounds better to a rivermen or blues fan and it still isn't true. Also, just cause he was bleeding doesn't mean he lost the fight. That's the same thing as all the people thinking a guy won the fight because he took the other player to the ice.

Legace injured on Wednesday against Ducks---Ben Bishop called-up to Blues

Prussian_Blue 12-11-2008 08:56 PM

Bishop's call-up to the Blues has goven Chris Holt an opportunity, and he's making the most of it... another strong showing tonight, taking out the Hamilton Bulldogs by a 2-1 score.

Holt shut the 'Dogs out for 58 minutes of the game, and ended up stopping 24 of 25 shots against for the night.

In three games with Peoria this year, Holt is 3-0-0, and has allowed five goals on 72 shots against for a 1.67 GAA and 0.931 save percentage.

Holt looked solid but Hamilton played like crap, looked like they were just going through the motions.

Maybe so, but Hamilton is still one of the top teams in the AHL this year, no?

I'll take a win any time over a team that's 15-9-2-0 in 26 games (32 points, 61.5% win percentage).

Correct and correct. Hamilton looked lifeless out there. And, of course, we're glad to scrape up the free bits. The Dogs are one of the best AHL teams, hands down. But the Rivermen are proving that pedigree, sometimes, matters not.

Ditto PB. This game was as much about a Hamilton team that was not "up for the fight" as Peoria's coaching. The coaching has been tremendous down on the farm. I get excited about good, well-coached hockey.
