The unofficial, post-op, hopped-up on goofballs, couldn't sleep, All-Ko Team
OK. Here we go...
All players are active (Sorry, John Kordic fans). I had to call up a couple of guys from the AHL, and negotiate with the KHL for a few transfers to shore up a young defensive corps and an old netminder, but clearly the forwards would carry this team deep into a cup run. Ilya Kovalchuk -Anze Kopitar- Alex Kovalev A. Kostitsyn- Saku Koivu- Tom Kostopouplos S. Kostitsyn- Mikko Koivu- Ales Kotalik Slava Kozlov- Viktor Kozlov- Chuck Kobasew (Press Box: Tomas Kopecky, Lauri Korpikoski) Ville Koistinen - Mike Komisarek Kirill Koltsov - Konstantin Korneev Dustin Kohn - Mike Kostka (Pressbox: David Koci, huge goon) Olaf Kolzig Vitali Kolesnik Head Coach: Jukka Koivu (Saku and Mikko's dad; Coached TPS Turku) Assistant Coach (For inspiration): Vladimir Konstantinov Assistant Coach (For aggression): Joey Kocur The team payroll would be $44,614,000 + whatever Kornnev, Kolesnik and Kosta make (which I couldn't find); well under the cap. The average age of the forwards is 27.4. The average age of the D is 24.6. The average age of the goalies is 33.5. The average age of the team is 27. About the non-NHLers: KHL: Koltsov: Vancouver 2nd round pick; has 20 points in 31 games this year. Korneev: Habs draft. Pretty sure we lost his rights. Leading the KHL in Time on the ice. Kolesnik: Leading the KHL in save percentage, 93.9% AHL: Kohn: NYI prospect with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Kostka: Sabres prospect with the Portland Pirates So, anyone want to do a an All-La team? |

How can you have a Ko team without Petri Kokko. Not much of a hockey player but double the KO.
