Well, I finally broek down and registered for the Courant, so I thought I'd post some highlights from these highly informative articles.

Quote:

Phil Osaer underwent surgery on his left knee Monday and is expected to be out 6-8 weeks, though he hopes to return before the regular season ends April 11. And Scott Meyer, a 2002 Calder Cup playoff standout who had been with Charlotte , has retired.

Jason LaBarbera, who has an AHL record 12 shutouts, and David St. Germain, called up from Charlotte Friday before Osaer was hurt, are the only goalies in Hartford or Charlotte under contract with the organization
That was written before the Markkanen trade.

Quote:

he Pack lost goalie Jason LaBarbera and center Benoit Dusablon to call-ups after the game so the Rangers would have a full roster tonight in Boston.
So if Labarbera is up, who is backing up for the Wolfpack? Who is in goal for the Checkers!?!?!

Quote:

Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld said he hopes Balej and Valiquette arrive for the game Saturday
Valiquette and Balej are both waiting for immigration papers to enter the US. I'm kind of glad to hear both will end up in Hartford though.
