Nashville Player to Watch: Forward Vern Fiddler has recorded 3 goals in December (one shy of his personal best), and has a goal in each of his last two games.
Nashville Reason to Worry: Captain Jason Arnott has now gone 8 games without finding the back of the net, and has just two points in that same time span. It's imperative that the gets the offense rolling, or this team could find itself in some deep stuff.

Florida Player to Watch: Tomas Vokoun came back to the starting spot with authority, stopping all 23 shots against the Avs for his second shutout of the season and 27th of his career. Vokoun is 2-0-1 in four appearances with a 1.49 GAA and .951 save percentage in December.
Florida Reason to Worry: The Cats have been abysmal in the face-off circle this season at 48.3%, and will face the #2 face-off unit in the NHL. This means a lot less puck control and could have substantial ramifications on their ability to control the tempo of play.

always love the fun facts and extra info!
Paul says 5 ex=Preds play for the Panthers
who am I missing?
Does anyone know for sure if Rinne is starting tonight?
we need tons of rubber and bodies at the net. If we can get one flukey goal in on Vokoun early we should be good to go for the rest of the game.
I just hope he doesnt pull a Mason on us.
Ahhh classic clip. You rule:yo:
this team couldn't score on a hooker
Oh wait, nevermind.
Zanon was apparently feeling in the Christmas spirit already last night. I hope Stillman sends him a nice card.
This team is hard to watch.:shakehead I'm trying not to overreact, the crazy part is we are still in contention with this god awful team. (for now)
We have defense and goaltending. We need offense. Ward doesn't belong with the top line. I'm not sure half of this roster belongs in the NHL at all lol:laugh: If we could find the right deal I'd be willing to trade Hamhuis and bring up one of the kids.
Santa bring us a top 6 winger and a healthy Sully, please lol
There's not enough fat women in Nashville to break this slump....
Well to contribute something positive Colin Wilson scored against Russia in the USA's 5-1 victory.
Does that help? :dunno:
