What a crazy incident that was. Can't believe that was 29 years ago already!!!!

There is another video of the incident that shows the whole thing. From memory(which is a little skewed right now from way too many X-mas parties this week!) The Rangers I believe were down a goal that game. In the final seconds, I believe Espo came in on a breakaway. He beat the goaltender but rang it off the pipe. In frustration he skated right to the door and off the ice. As the B's celebrated, a fan took a poke at Stan Johnathan over the glass. And I think another threw a beer. That's when all hell breaks loose!

You gotta love seeing Carol Vadnais leaning on his stick watching the events unfold in front of him.

And their must have been a lot of holiday cheer in a couple of those guys that felt they could take on the Bruins.

The last night of hockey stick night at the garden.

I'm only 21 so I never had the displeasure of watching him play, but my dad absolutely hates him. From how he described him, he seemed like an utterly useless, heartless, lifeless player. I know Marek Malik was a solid defensemen for us, but watching him play, he had absolutely no emotion to his game at all. Doesn't throw hits, seldom looks interested in the game. Redden is the same way.

Never judge a book by its cover.

No way do you get to the top of your profession by having no heart and desire, you are the one who's got it wrong if you think that's the case.

That was back when home games weren't televised. Remember watching that fiasco on the news.

Funny stuff.

I'm surprised Ranger fans weren't waiting outside for these ass***** after the game.

Milbury was ahead of his time with hitting someone with their shoe.He didn't get suspended for that.If that happened today, they would be calling for his arrest and prosecution. The guy in Iraq is jealous of Mike.He threw his shoes and is getting his ass kicked on a daily basis.
