Nashville Fun Fact: Since December 12 against Columbus, the Predators have gone a perfect 16 for 16 on the penalty kill... and 0 for 11 on the power play.
Nashville Player to Watch: Pesky winger Antti Pihlstrom has 30 hits in just 13 contests, has led the team in hits 6 times, and has doled out three or more in five games. Talk about a forechecking machine...
Nashville Reason to Worry: The Predators have scored just seven total goals in their last six games, including one or none at all in five of them. I offer this Canadian spin: "The NHL is too defensive these days. We need to go back to how it used to be. It's all your fault, Bettman! You ruined hockey!"

HAPPY BOXING DAY!
Can't believe we haven't played Detroit at all this year.
Of course our first game against Detroit comes during our worst scoring slump in recent memory.
Don't feel great about this one, if we haven't somehow clicked on what the problem has been.
Just got a ticket. Word.
either 7-1 Detroit or 2-0 Nashville. I cant decide yet.
awesome game :yo: :handclap:
the good news: I bet all of my vBookie on the Preds tonight
the bad news: I only had 50 to bet
I don't know how the **** Fiddler got a goal but he got one.
Wow, we scored more than one goal. It's a Christmas miracle! :xtree:
What a game. Best all year.
Weber/Suter played great.
Ellis was great.
Arnott got feisty in the third, throwing his weight around, finally. I loved that.
Great goals. All 3 were great shots.
Bonk won 13/14 faceoffs.
Good job not interrupting the tv timeout standing O, thanks!. :handclap:
Hope the team takes this game plan to Edm. Good job Preds!!:yo:
Yeah I agree this is the best they have looked all year long. Nothing like the Redwings to get the fans and the team going lol
I thought the turning point of the game was Ellis' Save on the Datsyuk breakaway, I thought for sure he was going to score.
Was that Hossa or Kopecky that got his stick around Shea's throat ? ... I can't believe Shea just didn't drop the gloves and send a message for future encounters
