I just started playing ice hockey so I got a nice cheap CCM V06 on boxing day.

I don't really feel like making a new thread, but does anyone know what curve Toews uses? I know he uses Easton but...

roast 01-03-2009 01:15 PM

Pretty much every pro has a custom pattern. Minor league guys don't get really custom, but they pick from a much, much larger selection then we do.

I am using an SE16 and I love it

Placebo Effect 01-03-2009 02:00 PM

Yeah I figured that, ah well I'll just stick with mine for now

If you're that picky you can always spend a ton of cash on Nike Bauer iD sticks:

nullterm 01-03-2009 11:00 PM

Sher-woody 5030 Coffey

On occasion, I carry a Easton Forsberg woody as backup.

Gonna give the 5030 composite a look see tomorrow and maybe pick one up.

UserName 01-03-2009 11:10 PM

warrior ak 27 shaft with easton lidstrom wood blade. nice balance between weight and feel. 85 flex

nike bauer XVI, with naslund blade, similar to the lidstrom except it has a rounded toe. 77 flex, i little too flexy for me.

i also have a synergy with forsberg blade that i never use, the lie is too flat for my liking, i'm actually considering cutting off the blade and putting a lidstrom blade in even though the stick is completely fine.

xeric716x 01-04-2009 12:24 AM

NB XXXX grip and some TPS i got from a teammate.

MDHockey 01-04-2009 02:04 AM

TBLfan 01-04-2009 02:47 AM

I rotate about 4 sticks. U+, S17, TPS XN10 chrome, TPS R2XN10 with Afanasenkov dolo blade. Occasionally, I use some of my other sticks too but those are the main ones.

qwertysac 01-04-2009 05:50 AM

Heat McManus 01-04-2009 10:59 AM

Was using Vapor XX P106, but I haven't been playing lately so when I'm on the ice I've been just getting the feel of different sticks. One90, SE16, S17
