Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Stars99Lobo37 01-04-2009 11:34 AM

Hi evil one. ;)

Kritter471 01-04-2009 02:31 PM

Wilson is out with what might be a head injury or a separated sternum (uh, ow).

He has a history of post-concussion, so we may not see him against for a bit.

DaStars99 01-04-2009 02:43 PM

Lets go Stars!

piqued 01-04-2009 03:12 PM

It still cracks me up that Canadians have to pay to watch certain games.

Dominic Roussel 01-04-2009 04:57 PM

Who would honestly want to pay to watch the Canucks? :D

Canucks: 11th (pay to watch good team)
Stars: 24th (bad team you can watch for free)

Make sense?

Anyways, I'm hoping for a high scoring game today. I predict the Sedins and Demitra have another good game and the Canucks take it 4-2.

VAN goals: D. Sedin (2), Bieksa, Burrows

DAL goals: Eriksson, Richards

Chad_ 01-04-2009 05:58 PM

I wouldn't pay to watch either team during a regular season contest, at least any more than I already do with my satellite package. If more people in the Vancouver area thought the same way, they'd scrap the PPV idea.

NuxFan09 01-04-2009 06:10 PM

The PPV here is ridiculous. After tonight's game, 3 of the last 5 games will have been PPV. What makes it even worse is the fact the Canucks rarely perform well in these games. I'm hoping your Stars make it worth the Canucks' fans while to purchase tonight's game :P

I'd rather just listen to the radio than have to pay a PPV for either team. That's ridiculous IMO.

You guys should easily run away with this one....
Labarbera is starting for Vancouver....
With Labs starting in net it is very easy to get a win.. :D
No offense toward Vancouver fans or anything but You guys have to get Luongo back to get yourselves going.

Whats tops it off is the quality is ****y and our record is terrible in PPV games. I honestly couldnt care, I get to watch them for free at work.

"Sedin is swedish for nepotism." That was quite entertaining.

Oh, I don't trust the Stars even to consistently win, let alone run away with anything, even when they're supposed to.
