Jd On Hnic

Four teams interested in Rucinsky including Van, Tor, Dallas. Three teams are chasing Malakhov and Barnaby and two are asking about deVries. No mention of Mironov.

Simon is thrilled with the trade to Calgary. He's from the area and it sounds like it's exactly were he wanted to land.

Doesn't sound like he's a cinch to be resigned if we want him back.

If we dont get Simon back, well, thats the way it goes. The only player that i would want to re-acquire, is Barnaby, if/when he gets traded.

Then why would have anyone have thought he'd re-sign if he stuck around here. might as well get asset for him. Same for Barnaby; if he wants to come back, fine. But, that's after the season anyway.

One other thing. Lindros is still thinking about playing this year. If he doesn't and if there is a lockout, he will go to Europe to play along with many other NHL'ers.

Nobody thought he would resign this year. The point was people were hoping he'd resign here in the summer. Same with Barnaby. I thought that was pretty clear but I guess not.
