Weber sent down

Per RDS:

http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/267032.html

It also says that Laraque, Higgins and Dandenault skated before practice.

Practice Today

http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/267032.html

some updates on practice...no price, no Koivu on the ice (eeeeeeeessshhhhh)

Weber sent back down- no surprise.

Laraque, Dandy and Higgins skated a bit before practice.

Kovy a no show because he is sick.

jcpenny 01-14-2009 12:25 PM

Does that mean that Dandenault is back?

edit: i think i have my answer

wolfinhabsclothing 01-14-2009 12:28 PM

That's good. He's not ready yet and too young to be sitting around as a 7th D-man. He needs to play.

For now the Habs have 6 healthy, relatively effective, bodies on D, Hamilton is only a phone call away if someone goes down, and the schedule is more or less light until the All-Star break.

not really, he injured his shoulder, he can skate but can't take a hit.

Habs 4 Life 01-14-2009 12:32 PM

Great so I guess Koivu will not play tomorrow either

Hopefully that's why he looked absolutely terrible last night.

Koivu should retire this summer, he cant handle the long seasons anymore. Vinnie will wear the C next year :)

montreal 01-14-2009 01:03 PM

Good time to send Weber down, since he hasn't played other then the 1 game and the Dogs play tonight.

R Tremblay is that you ?

Shadyone33 01-14-2009 01:07 PM

I wish there was a timeline for Price's return. I doubt he'll participate in the All-Star game now which may be a good call afterall. I can't believe all that time I spent voting!!! Drat!!!

Apparently you don't let small things like facts get in the way of making a foolish statement. This year aside, Koivu has missed a grand total of 16 regular season games over the last three seasons.

Or just to save every bit of cap space for Lecavalier! :jump:

:sarcasm:

Hannibal 01-14-2009 01:47 PM

Apparently, Georges Laraque told the media that he have to drop his weight around 245 pounds to help his back to get healthy. Bref, he's too heavy for his back...

So it's not his groin but definetly his back.

habs1988 01-14-2009 01:54 PM

Man...

No RDS tells that Price could miss the ASG if he doesn't play a game before...and that should not happen.

So...no Price for the next week.

He should stay away from those places....

I never thought I'd be hoping for Dandenault's return to the lineup. Brisebois needs to sit a while.
