If Arnott comes back... what lines would like to see? I think I'd like to see the old Sully-Arnott-Dumont line, they used to click back in the day and it may wake Dumont up. But that makes the others line weird, probably like:

Sully-Arnott-Dumont
Leggy-Santorelli-Erat
Jones-Bonk-Ward
Philstrom-Fiddler-Smithson

I dunno just throwing that out there:laugh:

That really might work, but I'd wait a few more games before Sully's on the top line again, I could see Dumont on a second line with Sully, that might make him produce better, kinda like putting Legwand on the wing.

Hopefully Santorelli can put up some points tonight so he can stick around longer. I've caught every Predators game since he got called up and he seems to keep getting chances or setting up others for chances, so hopefully he can cash in.

He's looked good though, he's pretty evasive in the offensive zone and a good stickhandler.

jstreet 01-17-2009 01:51 PM

anybody know what line Peverly has been playing on in ATL?

I have tickets in the lower bowl for tonight!

I didn't know Peverley's changed his name to Todd White.

worstfaceoffmanever 01-17-2009 03:34 PM

Weber and Arnott confirmed as returning tonight, Sulzer reassigned.

Lineup updated accordingly.

Enoch 01-17-2009 07:11 PM

Oh my Goodness.....are you KIDDING ME......Koistinen YOU SUCK!!!! Koistinen - the king of going -1 with the primary assist on the same play....

Soundgarden 01-17-2009 07:12 PM

Great start boys.:shakehead

Soundgarden 01-17-2009 07:20 PM

ELLIS:rant:

Enoch 01-17-2009 07:24 PM

Perfect pass to Koistinen, and what do you know, he lets it go right by him ruining another powerplay setup. I'm sorry, but Koistinen is officially the new whipping boy for me. He is TERRIBLE.

Enoch 01-17-2009 07:29 PM

Wow......we are playing God-awful against one of the worst teams in the league. No excuses tonight. Pathetic effort.

3-0 Thrashers, Kovalchuk has half the ice surface of open space......no one was even close to him.

trotzian brow 01-17-2009 07:40 PM

This blows. Why is Koistinen still in the lineup?

Peverley with 2A in the first period? Heh...

Jesus. Where were you going on that one Pekka?

Enoch 01-17-2009 07:46 PM

Worst hockey I have seen in at least 3 years out of the Predators. Terrible.

trotzian brow 01-17-2009 07:54 PM

Getting blown out by the Thrashers.

Hamhuis, Zanon and Smithson are -3 through the 1st. haha

trotzian brow 01-17-2009 07:59 PM

Great game for a full house tonight...

darth5 01-17-2009 08:00 PM

VK officially BLOWS!
Two brutal giveaways end up behind Ellis.
Then Ellis looks non-existent vs. Kovalchuk on a breakaway. Wow, I don't think I can watch anymore. I'm switching to watch the 3rd of the Caps/Bruins. Maybe my other team can pull out a win

Yeah - Smithson has accomplished that -3 rating in 3 minutes and 47 seconds of icetime. I laugh to stop from crying!

Enoch 01-17-2009 08:10 PM

Any reason we scratched Pihlstrom AND Jones tonight? I guess we really needed to get Belak back in the lineup.

Edit: Great goal by Schneider. Seeing-eye point shot

Edit: Beautiful pass from ARnott to Tootoo, who somehow gets it on net, and who somehow avoids the middle of the chest pads!!!

Joe T Choker 01-17-2009 08:56 PM

at least Vanderbilt got beat down by Mississippi State
