I merged them since you put some time into a nice GDT. Thinking about deleting the first (2) posts so that it appears as the first post.

I appreciate that. But it's totally up to you.

Pens lineup is banged up but getting healthy.

So far, Crosby, Talbot and Dupuis are GTD's. Orpik, Gonchar, Fedotenko and Goligoski are sick/hurt. Cooke is suspended.

I am guessing Crosby, Dupuis and talbot play.

Forwards (per their website). Taffe or Pesonen will take Cooke's place.

(???)-Crosby-Malkin
Dupuis-Staal-Sykora
Kennedy-Talbot-Satan
Godard-Thomas-Bissonnette

Defense
Scuderi-Whitney
Eaton-Letang
Gill-Boucher

Because I'm superstitious, I'm going to say that Crosby will play due to the fact that you have 87 posts. I hope he does play, and that the Rangers destroy them with him in the lineup. I really liked the way the team played last night (both goals against were incredibly unlucky, imo), and I feel as though they'll come out hard to make up for the egg they laid in the burgh a few weeks ago.

What does having 87 posts have to do with anything?

The Rangers are 1-9 in their last 10 at the Igloo.

I didn't like the way they played after the 2-0 lead last night and most of the game was played in their end. The defensive zone coverage was excellent but they were outworked along the boards.

Sid's number. You have 90 now. Way to ruin everything.

nyr2k2 01-28-2009 10:48 AM

LGR. Keep it rolling.

FutureGM97 01-28-2009 10:49 AM

I don't care if we lose in Boston on saturday...just please beat the Penguins. Henrik will have to be sharp.

someone please put crysby on his ass

FLYLine24 01-28-2009 11:27 AM

Crosby should have been suspended just like Datsyuk and Lidstrom for not playing in the All-star game...but he's the golden boy so obviously that didnt happened.

no he shouldn't have. He showed up for the festivities where as Datsyuk and Lidstrom didn't. that was the whole thing. It wasn't about just not playing in the game (if you had an injury) but not showing up to the event at all. ie autograph signings and stuff of that nature.

and I loathe Crosby, but he did the right thing by at least showing up and making himself available to fans and the media.

Blue Regime 01-28-2009 12:00 PM

Someone edit the title, we're playing the Pittsburgh Referees tonight. :sarcasm:

Hopefully we come out strong like we did yesterday, although I have a bad feeling about this one.

I Eat Crow 01-28-2009 12:11 PM

The start of this game could get ugly, as the Rangers are facing a rested, albeit a banged up Penguins team. Henrik looks sharp, but the defense gets too complacent at times.

4-2 loss :(

Blueshirt Special 01-28-2009 12:48 PM

We have to keep beating teams that are below us in EC.

pens must go down tonight. and I don't mean they need to dive.

ghirshorn 01-28-2009 12:55 PM

I checked Crosby's facebook page and under his hobbies it said: "taking dives and working the refs"

Good one...but I thought they were called the Pittsburgh Louganis' and their striped friends!;)

Tonight should be interesting...who thinks Pittsburgh will have a power play by the two minute mark?

I'm pretty sure he was joking.
