If things stay the same as last game, Jay Pandolfo will be a healthy scratch for the Devils tonight.

HockeyBasedNYC 02-09-2009 08:06 AM

I dont know what to think of this game.

What I do know is my pure hate for the Devils hasnt changed, so with that...

Let's Go Rangers!!!

BlueShirts88 02-09-2009 08:09 AM

I'll be there tonight, 10 rows from the glass!

Lets Go Rangers!!:handclap:

GeorgeHamiltonsTan 02-09-2009 08:09 AM

 indeed!
perhaps another double digits clunker (this time to a cross town rival) will result in some actual changes-not just putting voros on the 4th line. oh but dont you worry Avery is coming to save the day :banghead:

Brooklyndevil 02-09-2009 08:23 AM

Both teams coming off bad losses. Should be a good one and for someone reason I think Renny is happy that tonights game is against the Devils instead of a Nashville. Just my personal feeling.

HockeyBasedNYC 02-09-2009 08:26 AM

6 games in the next 10 nights for the Rangers...

I wonder where well be after that and if anything changes.

I doubt it, probably more of the same ********.

nyrfan519 02-09-2009 08:28 AM

Losing by less than 4 will be a moral victory.

Mr Bojanglez 02-09-2009 08:33 AM

Interesting matchup here. I'm very excited. As my fellow poster said above, its probably a very good thing you're playing NJ. Regardless of recent streaks, divisional rivals always bring the best.

So you guys had your disaster Friday, and we played pretty crappy on Saturday. I think New York comes out firing. To be honest, I NEVER want to play a team after a loss like that...especially a rival.

No good luck will be wished, but lets all hope we have a good game tonight. Not a high-scoring one, either... I can't take another 13 goal seesaw game!

nyr2k2 02-09-2009 08:36 AM

Loffen, you make the best GDTs.

Anyway, LGR. Rooting for a big win. But if we lose, let's lose big and prompt a shake-up!

Section311 02-09-2009 08:38 AM

Lets Go rangers

jniklast 02-09-2009 08:41 AM

94now 02-09-2009 08:50 AM

i rather think this team is due for a shutout, i mean they scored goals in TWO consectutive games. unbelievable offense... :sarcasm:
well i'm hoping they at least show some heart and at le-... wait, nevermind...

RichterLundqvist 02-09-2009 09:00 AM

and it isnt happening now

I thought it was well known you don't say, think of, even acknowledge the S word exists until the clock hits zero

Staals Eye 02-09-2009 09:03 AM

Lets go Rangers..........:help:
Devils 6
Rangers 2

Shadowtron 02-09-2009 09:04 AM

No reason to believe this game with be anything other than a disaster for the Rangers.

NYROrtsFan 02-09-2009 09:11 AM

I'm really excited to see Sjstrom and Korpedo on the same line. Those guys play a very similar game and will be exciting to watch considering they are so fast. Dawes at center sucks though.. .He's awful. Get him off the ice.

Drury Gomez Naslund isn't going to work all that well.. They are OK together, and that is all.

Callahan Dubinsky Zherdev isn't happening either... Just not a ton of chemistry between them.

Renney needs to have some confidence and stop just screwing with the lines...

The only line that showed another level of offense was the

Naslund Gomez Zherdev. They didn't play much defense, but if you gave them a few weeks, they would figure it out amongst themselves.

Naslund Gomez Zherdev
Korpedo Drury Callahan
Voros Dubinsky Prucha
Sjostrom Betts Orr

We would be fine with that...

Jane from Ranger Report had it that way, but Andrew Gross reported that Korpikoski was the center, and I'm more inclined to believe him.

They might. The forward combo's were just "copy/pasted" from Rangers Report though. We'll know later I guess.
