Anisimov Q&A

Last month Artem Anisimov agreed to take questions from fans for my little piece of Al Gore's Internet. After some very understandable delays (you know, a surprise trip to the AHL All-Star Game, his NHL debut) his answers are now up:

Great interview Squish. Thanks for this :handclap:

Good stuff Squish, thanks.

Seems like he's a good kid with a good attitude, realizes he needs more time, so that should put to bed any ideas that he's ready now.

He's gonna fit right in.

Hey Artem! How does it feel to possibly be on an all Russian line with Zherdev and Grachev next year, or in the future? Thanks. (John T.)

It feels positive. If that happens, we’ll show the Russian style of game and beautiful passing.

:D

I think that one of the big questions this offseason is gonna be: If we can't move one of Gomez or Drury, do we let Betts walk and bring in Artem to center the 4th line, get substantial PK time, and just roll 4 lines? That way he could be getting 10+ minutes a game. As long as he didn't wind up playing with Orr every night, I would fully support that plan.

Thanks for a great read!

Its really fantastic that you were able to put something like this together.

I really enjoyed reading, thanks.

This was my favorite part.

Seems like a pretty down to earth guy with very diplomatic responses to some questions. I hope he plays well in NY.

I hope he's been too busy to watch the last 10 games :sarcasm:

Thanks squishy
