TSN's TRADECENTRE '09 on the NHL Network?

Last year the NHL Network showed TSN's Tradecentre show. Are they going to do that again this year? And if not is there any place for an American to watch the TSN coverage of the trade deadline or any coverage at all? Thanks

Watsatheo 02-24-2009 10:04 PM

They had it online last year so I don't see why they won't this years as well.

Mike Richards 18 02-24-2009 10:04 PM

yes it will be on NHLNETWORK

cody275 02-24-2009 10:04 PM

I believe that I saw on The NHL Network that they were going to be showing US viewers the TSN Tradecenter show.

I could be wrong though but I am pretty sure that they are.

I'd like to know as well. Last year the NHL network had tradecentre on TSN and it was awesome. Up to the second coverage of trades occuring, I watched it all day.

They did say that NHL Live! would be extended an hour to 3pm to cover the trade deadline. So I guess thats probably it. Not sure if the trade deadline is at 3pm or 4pm?

I really hope you are right. I just checked out NHL Network.com and they didn't show it but maybe they still need to update it.

3:00pm Eastern. All paperwork has to be submitted to the league office by 3:00pm - but trades are not official until conference calls are held with all parties involved ... so you might still see trades announced for another couple of hours after the deadline.

Those who plan on watching tsn on deadline day, 10 hour coverage from 8am est till 6pm est...

No, but they show the TSN Deadline show on NHL.com.

What site can you see it on? I think I watched it last year but I forgot

ColincampbellOscopy 02-24-2009 11:20 PM

so they're not showing tradecentre on NHL network?

Harrison Ford 02-24-2009 11:20 PM

I took off of school last year so I could watch it. Too bad I have HSPA's this year on March 4th, I am so pissed.

ColincampbellOscopy 02-24-2009 11:24 PM

I really don't understand why they aren't showing tradecentre like last year and instead are showing 3 crappy hours of NHL live, especially most likely after a lot of trades have already been made. I want Bob McKenzie damnit.

FLYLine24 02-25-2009 12:34 AM

I cant believe it...i'm going to be off for the first time in 5 years (No school, no work)....

I finally get to watch this all day.

The NHL Network on trade deadline day...

From 12-3p ET here are your hosts... Clement, Jaffe, LaGreca.

Then at 3p... ...Duff, Clement, Button, Green and Eric Duhatchek.

BlackOmen 02-25-2009 08:56 AM

This happens during my reading week. I'm so happy I don't have to skip any lectures like last year. I watched online last year on tsn, and if you live in the states you can download software that reroutes your ISP address through a Canadian server.

Darth Bangkok 02-25-2009 09:40 AM

That sucks, I was looking forward to the TSN show starting at 8AM and I even took the day off. I hope their shows are half way decent (I expect they will though). Its sucks though to have to watch the TSN show on the computer (IF I can figure out how to use a proxy).

Books 02-25-2009 09:41 AM

I'm on reading week that week, and like tradition...I stay home and watch alllll day.

Fair Warning 02-25-2009 09:55 AM

Bummer. I was really looking forward to watching Tradecentre on my TV.

Darth Bangkok 02-25-2009 09:59 AM

Watching on TV is much more preferable than on the pc.

Yeah, but I'll hook up my laptop to my TV and see if I can watch it online that way. Not sure how good the image will look though.

Tradecentre '09 will be on tsn.ca, correct? Is this confirmed?

Darth Bangkok 02-25-2009 10:13 AM

It will be, yes.
