Blues Stats

hockey jedi 03-03-2009 09:50 AM

It would be great to win, but not critical. We can lose tonight if we take both games this weekend, which is more likely. This is exciting though, as the turn of events from tonight's games will probably determine the Blues trading strategy tomorrow. Trading deadline and draft day are my favorite days of the year when the Blues are active either buying or selling.

Go Blues! Let's get to within one point tonight!

I'm not going to miss this game. I'll be there.

I agree. Not critical but very important. I think if we win tonight against these pukes, we send a message, to every team out there and to our selves: We are still in this. We are a good team. We were one of the hottest teams in Feb....and we're not done.

As for the deadline (If we are buyers). I'm not really sure whos out there for the right price to add to this mix. I mean bringing in a scorer would be nice but probably not going to happen. We don't need any playoff grinders. I think we role with the line up we have now.

Just remember that they suffered a schlacking of 8-0 the other night and have had nothing but time to stew over that loss. I believe they will be out for vindication tonight. Little scared but Wings vs Blues games have always been fun to watch.

Time for another schlacking double the humiliation!:D

Boyesfan 03-03-2009 11:56 AM

I will be at the game and would it be so amazing if we are able to win... Is this game a sellout? I am sure it probably is I am just curious...

Oshie97 03-03-2009 12:02 PM

I will be there tonight as well. With the team going publicly about wanting TK on the team for the rest of the yr I am hoping they bring intensity and outright hunger. Lets hope we can make the wangs suffer another humiliating lose. GO BLUES!

hockey jedi 03-03-2009 12:19 PM

I wish the Wings weren't stinging from their beating the other night. It would have been nice for them to spank Nashville and then lay down for us, instead of the other way around.

MissouriBlues2008 03-03-2009 02:57 PM

I'll miss most of this game (class).

Go Blues!

TOPGUN 03-03-2009 03:00 PM

Any word on possible line-up combo's??

Thanks in advance

Bob Sacamanu 03-03-2009 03:10 PM

I get to go to the game tonight! Im pulling for the Blues, as this will help their playoff achieving confidence immensely, but this is the first time I've ever gotten to see Datsyuk/Zett play, so I want them to do well.

IGNACE 03-03-2009 03:15 PM

Just because Detroit lost bad the other day doesn't mean we can't beat them today. The Blues should be pumped, coming home after a great road trip to a sellout crowd against a division rival, and only being a couple points out of a playoff spot. I hope the fans are loud and into the game early.

Lets Go Blues!

Colton2233 03-03-2009 03:33 PM

Heres the lines that the Wings used at practice today.

Cleary-Zetterberg-Hossa
Franzen-Datsyuk-Samuelsson
Hudler-Filppula-Kopecky
Maltby-Draper-Downey

Lidstrom-Rafalski
Kronwall-Stuart
Ericsson-Lebda

Osgood

Ericsson makes his season debut tonight for Lilja

Randall Ritchey 03-03-2009 03:35 PM

Section 309 tonight. I'm exciting. This is a big game. Could sway how JD & co. trade around tomorrow. Lets have Perron get the hatty tonight to show how good he is and so we can keep him around.

pcgflyers12* 03-03-2009 03:39 PM

sec. 105 row 7 tonite...i'm ready to see the wings go down! GO BLUES!!!

Boyesfan 03-03-2009 03:49 PM

I think for once Boyes will break out of his slump and actually score a Hat Trick... Because I don't think he has ever done that in a blues uniform...

No, he hasn't. But it'd be great to see against the Red Wings.
