Point taken

Modo 03-03-2009 09:56 AM

Hoping for an upset tonight.

Also hoping this is the last time we see Sydor, and he's traded for a bag of pucks tomorrow.

That's a double shot of crazy ..... San Jose @ Home = 26-2-3 (IIRC)

Stars99Lobo37 03-03-2009 10:22 AM

Still Believing!
(But Fading Quick)

Still Hating Sydor!

Go Stars Go!

Yeah, well, the way this team has looked lately, it'll take something crazy for them to even think about a playoff berth.

I wouldn't be shocked if they won tonight because Turco plays well in the Tank, but Sydor getting traded is the craziest thing anyone could say. I'd be absolutely stunned if they moved him, and he waived his NTC.

DaStars99 03-03-2009 11:13 AM

let go Stars, it is a late one tonight

Captain Awesome 03-03-2009 12:58 PM

How about they just waive him instead? No one will claim him and he can toil in the minors where he will probably still get schooled.

This is what happens when a Shark goes after a Star:sarcasm:http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c2...603_shark9.jpg

Captain Awesome 03-03-2009 01:10 PM

This may sound crazy, but part of me wants us to lose tonight, just to put a dot at the end of the sentence that says "Do NOT buy this year."

Just FYI, JR and Grier are both injured too :(

The thread below is a team neutral thread on refs on the SJ forum. Please read the first couple of pages in the thread before posting in it. The thread is for an understanding of reffing and a place to contribute reviews. Single incidents are OK, but they need to point to a general tendency of that ref or a general reffing issue. Nemesis, our moderator, has been very good about keeping the thread to topic. We are very interested in getting skating and positioning impressions on refs.

http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=572640

We started looking after the lockout and did a project in the second year post-lockout where a group of 5 fans reviewed over 300 games for refs. No fan could review a game of the team for which he or she rooted. The second page of the thread has a table which gives a quick snapshot of each ref and his tendencies.

Can I please have what you're having.

Hull Fan 03-03-2009 03:25 PM

4-2 San Jose.

Sydor will be made to look foolish by Setoguchi and Thornton at least once.

Stars99Lobo37 03-03-2009 03:26 PM

Have we given up a goal yet?

txdude5101 03-03-2009 03:31 PM
