Koistinen, De Vries, and Bonk

Will all of these guys be back next season? Maybe just 1 or 2?? or none??

I think they will all be gone this offseason except maybe Bonks.

With our defense booming, I do not see the real need for De Vries and do not think Koistinen will be needed whether it is offensively or defensively. Especially if Wilson, Blum, and possibly Franson are all up next year.

I also think that Nick Spaling (since I watched him play all year last year for the Kitchener Rangers), has some real promise for the future, maybe a couple years, but could be a gem.

I would say maybe Bonk, but probably no to all 3.

I don't think any of them will be back ... I'd much rather go with what we've got back there PLUS Sulzer/Blum and Santorelli/Wilson up front as well as getting an upgrade in the top 9 (MAYBE Radulov, who knows)

Bonk might be back.
Koistinen is a long shot.
If De Vries comes back, I'll be furious. Not because of his play, but because of the talent we've got backed up behind him. We're trying to compete here, not give the Admirals back-to-back Calder Cups or something.

no,nope,no way

At this point, I think Bonk and Scott Nichol are fighting for the same spot. I honestly think it's going to be a matter of who's cheaper.

I just dont understand why Poile didnt deal any of them at the deadline. I mean a team that is in a serious playoff run for a cup would be a beneficiary for sure if they acquired a guy like Bonk, De Vries or even Koistinen. I mean I understand that it was hard to deal on the deadline witht he race being so close, but technically we still could have dealt them if not many teams were sellers, and we could have asked a slight bit more for them since not many teams were dumping rental players.

So what happens with them, trade??? or they just walk on July 1st??
