First "rivalry" game for the kids. I'm interested to see how they respond.

Post 'em if you got 'em.

it would be great if the kids beat the devs and i actually believe their chances of doing that are greater then our previous teams because of the hard work that is needed to beat them.... would be a nice start to a partially new era... (freakin sather)

but we must stick to the plan and lose as many games possible.. i hope dunham is in net tonight

True Blue 03-15-2004 11:35 AM

All I am hoping for is effort, effort, and more effort. I think that the kids will play their hearts out, but the results will be very Tampa-like. I see a 4-2 or 5-2 loss. However, so long as I see effort and continued solid play by Tyutin, Lampman, etc...I will be happy.

Obviously I'll disagree :D He's got so much respect in that room that I think those kids could learn a lot from him. Say what you want but he isn't the same guy as the kid in Quebec or Philadelphia. He may have his woes but avoiding eye injuries and hopefully all else - I'd like to see him back with Jagr...just let Jagr carry the puck. ;)

I see Balej scoring his first NHL goal tonight. Stay tuned!

Messier on Balej: Good hockey sense

I thought the knock on balej was the lack of hockey sense.

Help the Habs, you guys are fine. We need to help ourselves and lose. Dunham is having a great game...WHERE THE HELL WAS THIS ALL SEASON?!? :dunno:

I think Tom did a much better job of distributing the ice that period (the first). Everybody got onto the ice and got the blood flowing.

How about those penalty kills! Tyutin

Advice for Lampman...Don't listen to Poti's advice...

Janerixon 03-15-2004 07:39 PM

i hate jan hrdina
he was a ranger killer for the pens and sam and JD had to say burns wants more scoring from us. 2 years ago he had 2 overtime goals against us, the guy is a ranger killer just like modin, gomez, and st. louis, just no one talks about him cause hrdina is usually a defensive foward

again i hate jan hrdina

Good call.

Wanna go to Vegas? :p

Fotiu22 03-15-2004 08:15 PM

i missed the first period while at work, so i may be wrong here. is it me or did it seem like there was NO emotion in this game? if so, it may be because they are all so nervous trying to play at the NHL level.... thoughts?

another loss in our quest for a lottery pick, so thats a plus.

didn't see the entire game but lundmark took a bad hooking call which along with a poti hold became a 5-3 that the rangers killed off... later on he jumped on the ice too soon for a too many men on the ice call.. it looked like he had a rough start atleast.. don't know as far as his game performance goes
