Are you asking if your stuff should be flimsy/moist?

Need more info!

It's stiff because sweat is depositing things in the linings and padding and when that dries, it stiffens up. Not really a huge deal, it'll loosen back up when you sweat in in again.

It should not stay moist after you use it though. That will cause bacteria to grow, cause things to smell and put you at risk for staph and other infections.

The only way you can really fix it is to wash your gear. There are different ways to do that, you should be able to dig up a few old threads on that subject.

Take your gear out of your bag and get a rack or something. Spray your gear down with alcohol. Will be good to go with very little stink.
