Van-Atl (Next years TD)

ATL:
Luongo

VAN:
Kovalchuk

Lehtonen is likely to go somewhere next season.

God 04-04-2009 10:44 PM

Uh

Why?

Lexicon 04-04-2009 10:45 PM

Next years Trade Deadline?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

What do you base that on?

KingJet* 04-04-2009 10:54 PM

hes a restricted free agent and I guarantee it he will get traded at the Draft but if not he'll go somewhere else

This guy also said in the Luongo thread that Luongo is "old and has groin problems"...

dj4aces 04-05-2009 01:38 AM

Next draft? Seriously? Let's play next season first, guys.

Norm MacDonald 04-05-2009 03:37 AM

My brain hurts.

Rhodes 81 04-08-2009 04:56 PM

finally the thrashers actually get equal value for kovalchuk

too bad it makes no sense for either team

Nunymare 04-08-2009 04:59 PM

That makes 0 sense for both teams.

Luck 6 04-08-2009 05:28 PM

Haha.. It just doesn't make sense. From Vancouver's stand point there is no way they are trading Lu unless they know he won't re-sign. The only reason he wouldn't re-sign is because he wants to win the cup and he beleives he has a much better chance elsewhere. NO WAY he waives his NTC to go to Atlanta without Kovy.

If Atl knew they couldn't re-sign Kovy, why trade him for another all-star that won't re-sign with them either? They'd trade him for picks and prospects.

What's with all these proposals recently? You need more than just semi-equal value... Damn..

Steven93 strikes again!

Magnus Fulgur 04-08-2009 07:01 PM

Earlier this season Lehtonen had the flu. He injured his back coughing or what-not so badly he needed cortisone shots.

His current injury comes from Avery running into White who then ran into Lehtonen who twisted his neck and then fell hard flat on his back.

Waddell isn't saying anything about hoping Kari gets well. He's not saying anything about Kari and hopes he can get something for him at the draft.

John Belushi 04-08-2009 07:19 PM

Fellas, its abundantly clear that the "93" iin the name is his birth date. Go easy on the little guy.

Roberto would not play for the thrashers after his contract expired and for the reasons why Vancouver would not do this trade, I'll leave it at that.

Todds Chiropractory 04-08-2009 09:27 PM

Ill take the guy who plays for 60 minutes

AintLifeGrand 04-08-2009 09:34 PM

what an insane thread notion. The Thrashers are going to be buyers at the trade deadline next March.

GKJ 04-08-2009 09:38 PM

Haven't we learned by now that high-priced, superstar talents don't get traded for each other? This decade, how many times has it happened? Twice?

CAPiTA 04-08-2009 09:41 PM

I've seen you come up with worse trades on the official board.
