RDS Flynn a believer

Hes the only one who still believes ! good for him...woot

Its a tough matchup, the series will be decided by the end of period 1, game 1 i feel.

neofury* 04-14-2009 12:44 PM

Hrmmm that's good to hear that some media whorebags are in fact, believing.

I know I believe ;)

I don't predict we'll win the cup, but I wouldn't be shocked if any of the teams who have made it did. It's a SOLID 16 teams this year imo.

Le Tricolore 04-14-2009 12:45 PM

LOL! Michel Therrien?

Mustafa* 04-14-2009 12:50 PM

He's actualy the only one i respect (with Morisette) in the bunch.

I dont think you should look at it that way. A series can shift at any moment in any game. Even if the Habs trail by 3 after one period on thursday, it wont mean anything.

I don't think that it's that important for the Habs to win the first game of the series. It is more important to win the last one :)

Others believers CKAC: Gabriel Grégoire, Jeremy Rainville and everyone's favourite JC Lajoie.

Among the non believers: Pat Burns ( :( ), Jacques Demers and Michel Langevin (he's still mourning after his Sens and was a total a..h..e this morning with both Grégoire and the callers.

James25 04-14-2009 01:06 PM

Taking either one of the first two games in Boston would be a huge confidence boost. Heading back to Montreal at 1-1 you would fancy it to go 6 or 7.

llamateizer 04-14-2009 01:12 PM

lol stupid luc gélinas.

he puts bruinss in 4 :shakehead
last yeah he put habs in 4

Yvon Pedneault 7
Luc Gélinas 6 :shakehead
Renaud Lavoie* 8
Norman Flynn 7
Chantal Machabée 9
Alain Crête 7
Bob Hartley 7
Benoit Brunet* 5 :shakehead
Stéphane Leroux 11

If I could chose to win only one game, I would chose the 7th game of the stanley cup final.

Maybe that's his problem on this case - he actually predicted with his (great) mind :) while we used or hearts

Anyway - he also predicted we would beat the Rangers and the Bruins last week so he could be wrong.

the exact opposite of your post would be my opinion. he just HAD to be different from all the others who said boston would win in 5. usually its not cool to chose the habs opposition ... but this time around its the opposite ... you're cool if you pick the habs over the bruins ... I love it.

If anything your comment summarizes exactly what the past 3 series have been like.

We need all the positive energy we can get. Enough of this regular season, time for the ghosts to come back and plant the first one in the new building.

BTW, as awesome as Mason and Nash are...I think the CLB in 7 predics are cases of "i told you so's" if in fact a miracle occurs there (which won't happen).

Crystal Met 04-14-2009 02:05 PM

rejean tremblay also believes

Maybe he should reveal his prediction to the next player he interviews, OR if they know in advance I hope they ask him about it (in french would be priceless if it were Saku).

If you are referring to my last sentance, thats not what i meant. I meant we will see how badly the Habs want it after the first period. Its not about winning or losing. Its about being hungry. The habs showed that in the last game vs the bruins. But they have also showed the complete opposite in other important games.....which habs will show up will be the deciding factor.

Guriken 04-14-2009 04:54 PM

Like I've been told by some people today, by picking the Bruins to win they are just being objective. But RDS...? :help:

Well, it will be Habs in 6, or 4, or 5 or 7... ;)
