Other than the Habs , who do you root for ?
 

Title is self explanatory.

Me , i root for the Flames like i do every year when they are in the playoffs. I will also follow the Pens-Flyers series closely. Not because i cheer for either one of them but because it should be epic and good hockey.

Note that i won't include the Bruins in this poll since we..well this is the Habs boards and we face them so :D

For the way it is built year after year: the Edmonton Oilers. I like watching players who care about this game. I find them usualy playing in the West: Edmonton, Calgary... but this Spring, I expect Boston and Carolina to be the best teams to watch. For guys like Bergeron, Lucic, Ruutu, Cole and several others.

And I can't wait to see what Lapierre will do. Beside him and Bouillon if he comes back, I don't expect much excitement coming from this roster.

By the way, no Bruins in your list? I am not one of those stupid guys who will chear for the best teams in the league because they won the championship of their conference; the bruins have a great team, suited for playoffs. It was exciting to watch it last year; will be even better this season.

Since my youth, i always had a crush on Anaheim, mostly due to the fact that i just loved the Mighty Ducks logo and colors but also because of the movies, so as far as i can remember i've been a ''fan'' of the ducks in the west but not really a fan, just like the team and always liked it

I miss Selanne and Kariya together, they used to have such great chemistry

The Washington Capitals because I like Russian hockey players. I just love the way they play the game. (Ovechkin Semin Fedorov Kozlov Varlamov) That and the fact that Feds was one of my favroute players growing up.

I don't exactly root for the blackhawks, but i hate to see any original six go through what they had to. It's a travesty and a disgrace to the game, i'm happy to see them back on track and i'd like it if they could go as far as possible this year, losing of course, to the habs in the finals.

I did "root" for Ottawa a couple of years back, seeing the reciprocity from that fan base since, what a mistake!!!
